Just tried this and the reload worked, but when you load in you still have the same amount of money as before you looted the $50.. Oh well, guess I missed out on this one since I just started this game last night haha!

A far easier one is the wagon on the way to Wallace Station/Cumberland Falls. Grab the jewelry bag, gallop off for a short distance and it will respawn. $50 a time and you can do it all day, no need to save the game.

You don't need money. You can buy 100% of the items by just completing the story and epilogue, and doing the treasure maps.

WARNING: It does still work but you can accidentally break it if you're not careful.

I just learned the hard way that the glitch only works and repeats when you load a saved game BEFORE YOU LEAVE. So if you want to get a bunch of money and come back later, do NOT leave the area if the two guys are still dead. Make sure you save & immediately load like you would to continue the process, but leave while they're still alive.

If you leave after killing them and taking the money then come back later like I did, you're out of luck.
