ol' tom hanks is a acting national treasure in the same vein as michael landon and jimmy stewart before him. i don't know what they're like in they're personal lives, but entertainment-wise, they were beloved.

I just watched this movie and cried. Nobody could play Mr. Rodgers other than Tom Hanks. It brought up feelings and emotions I thought I’d dealt with but apparently I guess I buried them. Now I’m going to find out when the show is on tv and watch it again like I did when I was a kid.

There will never ever again be another Mr. Rodgers. The world has changed toooo much 😢

The thing I learned from the movie is that Mr Rogers never wanted to mend broken people. That wasn’t his intention. He showed them what it was like to feel whole.

I watched Daniel tiger before I saw this…

I cried the entire movie, was inspired this entire whole movie. I watched it not knowing how bad I needed it.

I’m quite young and all I know about this movie is that guy is the Daniel tiger guy. I watched this movie 4 years ago when it came out and oh god it was long. I fell asleep multiple times and every time I woke up it wasn’t near done. I thought I was going insane

My husband send the video interview of Mr. Rogers wife. I bet their life is beautiful. Being with Mr. Rogers is amazing. I went to find this and it makes me cry right now. When he says “ Sometimes its okay to ask for help. And that’s okay.” 🥺

I grew up with Fred Rogers on TV. I am now 58 and going through a very difficult time in my life. And I find myself turning back to him and his wisdom. One of the things people always forget about Fred Rogers is how frank he was. He did not mince words about anything, good and (especially) bad. He put it out there for all ages to hear. As an adult you realize this; as a child he was just another friend speaking to you.

Fred Rogers Tom Hanks is not, I look at him, and I think Bosom Buddy's, Allen Bauer From Splash, The Money Pit, Joe Banks from Joe Versus the Volcano. But Not Fred Rogers or Walt Disney. + It was Impossible to interview Fred Rogers, He was to nice, Interviewers left with more questions than they came with, and always got stuff like Photo's of the land of Make believe, and the Int: of the House. Fred's Sweaters were Hand Made by his Mom.

I just saw this last night I gotta say tom hanks did a splendid job playing Fred rogers which he's best known as mister rogers.

My brother reached out to our mom after not speaking to her for 12 years after watching this movie. What an enormous blessing. Thank you Mr Rogers 😭

Tom Hanks is one of the most recognized actors today,but no matter how well he portrayed Mr. Roger's. It's his voice that everyone can easily notice,would an unknown actor have been a better choice....

Never heard of Mr Rogers before, being Brit and not interested how factual it was but a beautiful film and melted my heart. Bravo
