Nexus 4.5 Update | Has REFX Finally Started Listening to Us?

I come from Nexus 2, 3 and are on 4.5. I think it is really worth it. It evens out over time if you look at all the changes in 4.5 and not paying for it and also the amount of sounds coming with Nexus 4.0 . Look at it this way -$99 for the upgrade from Nexus 3 to 4.5. You get presets that is basically 3 expansions size that would with discount cost $162 for only 3 expansions but instead you get it for $99 plus all the other added stuff and control and tweakable features. Nexus 4.5 is really much better workflow and just need to work with it to feel that difference.

Upgrade Now! It's $80 upgrade for Christmas.

My brotha, my brotha Jaunti. Don't you think you're being just a little too hard on reFX? Nexus 4.5 is absolutely beautiful compared to version 3.5. I would love to buy it accept I lay here bed ridden in a frickin' nursing home and can't work. I pray to be out of here before Christmas because I've been in here 4 years as of Halloween and I'm sick of this place. I miss my job as a bus driver and my apartment and my own personal cooking. I get so pissed off every year when the big major sales happen and I can't afford to buy Nexus. I don't need every expansion, however what Nexus 4.5 is now offering it's closer to being a real synth than ever before and I can't wait to get it on.
Bro you have the right to be upset and I totally appreciate you exposing the rep for treating you poorly. I pray that rep has learned a valuable lesson in customer relations. If you're going to represent a company selling a product you must prepare yourself to deal with negativity, no matter what level the customer is on.
reFX I commend you on a great job with Nexus 4.5 and congratulations on your release of Vanguard 2.
Juanti I commend you on your podcast & helping to keep the public informed. For this is truly the way we can keep these companies in line with their practices in dealing with us the public, the customer.

This happens when you get new workers for the Nexus Brand entering the Company . But they haven't studied who their true customers are and have not build a healthy relationship with the culture.

I think Manuel/Vengeance focus on Avenger as their flagship product more than refx/nexus. They probably needed to quickly update nexus 3 to 4 after it got cracked a year or so ago and were probably rushed into adding features that weren’t anything special until now. Better to get Avenger, imo. Sounds are from the same sound designer and it’s an actual synth and not a rompler so the expansion packs give you way more options than Nexus

The worst service that they do was the last time, because to get a new bundle we have to update for Nexus 4! But the worst ting that happen recently was when I update to 4.5 and have to install again Nexus. The application RfX cloud didn´t recognized the permition to use Nexus. Fortunately they have a great asssitance and help me to resolve the problem, but the problem remains, from now one when I have to update someting I have to disable ransomware protection!

Jauntí BOY.... reFX could add million trillian things to nexus but if the sound banks are not the style of music that you make then NEXUS 4.5 or NEXUS v10.5 or even NEXUS v500.Dont Care because it is pointless. reFX need to sort out if it's a synth or a sampler. I paid for Nexus 2 and 3 since 2012 and also i have around 50 banks i have purchaced but refuse to buy Nexus 4 or Nexus 5, 6, 7 until they sort out.. Sampler or Synth??

I wouldn't purchase it ... I went the contact route.. and I'm much happier.. they lost me when they tried to charge me for a GUI update

They basically turned Nexus into a newer version of Vengeance. At this point nexus is to late to the party. They have the same old/ole sounds and expansions from previous versions. I'll take kontakt over Nexus ANY DAY.

It’s not worth the upgrade price. Plus when you think about how you have to buy Nexus for to use the newer expansions, it’s going to cost $160+ just for a new expansion. I’m good on them. Lol
