Super good tips im taking a course in plumbing and heating
ОтветитьDrilling the four relief holes with the arbour bit was a genius move, bother.
🇨🇦
Sorry, but the first one is bad and weird. Just use Limescale Remover solution.
ОтветитьThe channel lock one is a good tip
ОтветитьI know a good plumbing hack. Put gloves on before you stick your hand in toilet water.
Ответитьnothing new for me..... i got better ways
ОтветитьDamn I love the hole saw trick! Lol haven't bought a new set in years this will help!
ОтветитьUsing solder for your belt is an expensive form of a belt that's for sure
ОтветитьThe aerator one was really clever. Wow. I also learned the label one from another video of yours. The rest seemed dlike common sense to me!
ОтветитьPipe bending
ОтветитьAwesome tips, thanks for sharing them.
ОтветитьI knew all those tricks, but you should have mentioned putting vasaline on a toilet flapper. It'll stop the leak.
ОтветитьMaybe use some gloves in the toilet next time…😅
ОтветитьI just started an apprenticeship and to be honest i enjoy it ive been a cook/chef since i was 14 im 39 now i wish i would have started sooner but i never had the chance the type of plumbing we do is putting pex and plastic in new houses being built we hardly ever deal with doo doo pipes or water and i always though the job was all doo doo pipes and water
ОтветитьI'm still trying to regain my composure after the solder belt tip 🤣
ОтветитьOriginal poster of this article - I am asking you to say out loud, the word "odd". Next, I would like you to say "odder" out loud. This is because, solder is not pronounced as sold-er. It is pronounced as (sodder). I sold er a six pack of beer. I soddered a fitting to the copper tubing. I hope you get it. Your videos are great. I just want to barf when you pronounce solder incorrectly!
ОтветитьAnother hack if you are soldering and you can’t get the solder to melt try lighting your torch first. When using bolts be sure to turn to the right to tighten. If you are having trouble soldering 86 the compression valve and use a jet swet or bread. Or even better…… hire anyone with common sense. Worthless video for anyone with a brain
ОтветитьTHANK YOU!!
I've set up a new business selling solder belts! Making a fortune....🤑
Nice
Ответитьdidn't get anything from cutting threads for screwing nut , what is that about ??
ОтветитьWell am learning these tricks so that I can be Johnny sins and manage my family
ОтветитьThose are realy good hack thanx man I realy appreciate it itl come in handy
ОтветитьIf its copper use half inch sharkbite
Ответить🕺
ОтветитьBarkeeper's friend for porcelain works better
Ответитьthe information is great
ОтветитьBrillo pad works great on toilet stains
ОтветитьI've unplugged drains by putting a nozzle "gun" on a hose, dragging it to the sink and giving the drain a hard blast. It has worked every time. But I don't have long hair, so IDK how that would change things.
ОтветитьThat tip with the flux to get off the glue is great for adding to life expectancy.
ОтветитьAwesome. A bunch of hacks and tips that actually work. Great job -- Subscribed.
ОтветитьI dont know how to SOLD-HER..I can solder ok though
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьSol-der.
ОтветитьA reeeeeaaaalllly old trick for soldering a horizontal or vertical line stub with dripping water is to stuff a chunk of white bread about 8 " into the line which stops the dripping until you complete your solder joint. When you've turned the water back on the bread dissolves and flushes right out of whatever outlet is the next down the line.
ОтветитьFantastic 😊
ОтветитьAnother tip that I like to use to unclog a drain is using the exhaust side of a shop vac. I do it once a month just for preventative maintenance. Just make sure you plug the air vent before you do it.
ОтветитьMy local hardware store has a liquid product that you apply to a paper towel and rub the stain area and this removes the stains, but I find I have to use a cup to scoop out some of the toilet water first to expose the ring and keep the water from diluting the product on the paper towel. Prior to this I used a scouring pad that did damage the porcelain.
ОтветитьDon't use red food coloring in your toilet tank. The next person to use it might think they have a medical problem.
ОтветитьGreat tips !👍
ОтветитьPumice stone works really well on hard water stains in toilet.
Ответитьyou deserve the world for this one brother thank you
ОтветитьAs an American, I cringe every time he pronounces solder. Yeah, I know that's how you say it in Great Britain, but I only speak American.
ОтветитьThat wet/dry sandpaper is NOT softer than porcelain. It's gonna make tiny scratches, no matter what you might think.
ОтветитьYou can also use cable ties to tighten up your pants instead of a belt. Use one or two straps to pull in loops on waist line 🤣
ОтветитьLove this channel! straight to the point and helpful thank you! The tie wrap!?? The Pex insert!? LOL solder belt!!! LOL all amazing tips
ОтветитьUse a water meter to see if you’re using water. Absolute genius. Almost as good as holding your pants up with wire.
ОтветитьThere is a flow dial on the water meter that registers even a tiny leak - the black triangle in your video, red for another brand. This will slowly spin if there's a leak, and won't take long to see it change.
New digital meters have a indicator when they detect a leak (constant water flow for 12+ hours)
Liked the tip of using the rubber handles of your channel locks to loosen the faucet aerators!
This will work for any chrome screw-on fixture, such as shower heads and wands, for example.
