A mage build is one of the hardest, most time consuming builds you can make. Even with exploits. But once you get a high enough level, you're steam rolling through everything in your way. Taking out entire dungeons in 10 minutes

Actually I was really enjoying mage play style before I learned the way to max out every school of magic in half an hour in mage college

Starting a mage build in 2023 😂

I'm picking argonian for race. I have the imperious race mod that changes histskin to permanent 50% regeneration for health, magicka, and stamina when below 20%. All magical depleted? No, it's not!

The elemental spell line from the anniversary edition is op as it scales off all three destruction magic perks meaning you can get a spell with like 400 power using priest masks that also drains magika and stamina

It is a travesty that they removed a lock picking spell from alteration. I never considered using alteration but if it had a spell like that then I would have discovered the usefulness of stone flesh early on by having to level alteration. They butchered illusion and alteration going from oblivion to skyrim, which was not encouraging for wanting to use them.

My problem is I am too lazy to be switching spells all the time to fit the situation. But the destruction and summon equip sounds like a good general strategy.

I don't recommend working on both Conjuration and Destruction in the early game, you don't have the Magicka economy for both. Pick one and use it as your primary damage type and work on the other later when you have % magicka cost reductions.

Destruction and alteration are the easiest ones to level up because you can fast travel, while channeling telekinesis boom, like level 87 alteration and do the same with unbound storm easy way to get level 100 in both of them. I don’t know if they patch this, but you can just cast soul trap on a dead mud crab and use the wait action to regain your magic while empty, and you can do the same with muffle, there you go illusion and conjuration the only one I don’t know a strategy for is restoration in terms of magic

If you want a fun game, don't choose the impact perk in destruction. It's completely game breaking. Combat will never be any kind of challenge again.

Tips for getting money from enchanting:

1. Dont loot armor from enemies, only their weapons. The reasoning is that weapons you enchant sell for a lot more gold than armor you enchant.

2. The top 5 most valuable enchantments for weapons are Banish, Paralyze, Absorb Health and a tie between Turn Undead and Damage Stamina. The latter 2 of the 5 can be purchased or found earliest.
