What I Want From EVERY Mario Game For Super Mario Maker 3

Yes I wanted the frog suit. Makes water levels infinitely more enjoyable.

Could you imagine if they added the amibo support from the original WIIU game but they actually have different play styles, coudl you imagine sonic or samus going through mario levels

I think Mario Wonder would or at least should be a game option

Different colored Yoshis/Koopa Troopas, switch palaces/blocks, Reznor boss, SMB2 style, customizable world maps in SMB3 style with all 8 world themes. Also an option for Super Mario All Stars graphics for the three NES games.

what about the tanooki suit where you can turn to stone

I want to be able to choose different backgrounds for levels, like have multiple options for a background for each level theme, and also different ground block options for each theme would also be cool, also I REALLY WANT the tower theme and volcano theme. And although unlikely I really want the New soup DS theme because I just really like it's aesthetic and the castle theme goes HARD.

Star Coins gates could also be added to super worlds to reward those who go out of their way to find them.

i want a feature that lets you use all of the power ups in all game styles. or atleast have the feature being unlocked by doing something like maybe finishing story mode if smm3 has a story mode.

I think the gravity adjusting semi solids would be especially valid when they kind of reappear in Mario odyssey SPECIFICALLY in a 2D section which is designed to be like Mario 1

That last idea is insanely good

One thing that would be really good is style themes in world makers to make it feel like your playing the exact game.

Maybe they could remove the Penguin Suit’s ability to throw ice balls if they wanted to add it, so that it stands out from the Ice Flower while still being able to slide on the ground and swim faster underwater

Also it would be cool if they added costumes to customize yourself like from Mario Odyssey

Idea: the night time sea theme instead of being dark and being a copy of the night time mansion could be a dry ocean Which would be cool

idea: make it so if you are super ball mario whilst in a underwater stage, it turns you into the submarine version.

idea: for super worlds, there’s a completely different editor with the switches, secret exits, and star coins, and you can import your existing levels

-sloped semisolids for all themes
-modular semisolids(like ground)
-foreground semisolids(like NSMB wii)
-diagonal pipes and blasters
-the option to finish a level by beating a boss

6 golden coins has really cool bosses but it would take a lot more sprites

i genuinely prefer the frog suit over the hammer suit, everything you said about each of them is more applicable the other way around - the hammer suit is just a projectile and doesnt add much but the frog suit changes platforming and is the only powerup to have water behaviour

im baffled you criticised the frog suit as the worst powerup just to complement them in the mario land segment

Would the Ice Flower be in all the game styles?

I get that it’s only NSMBU but it doesn’t seem fair to have a freezing ability exclusive to one game.

The shy guys could be reworked like so: they roam like goombas, and there would be a variant for them to turn around at ledges. Then, when they are stepped on, they are stunned and can take one more hit until they die. However, in the stunned state, you can pick them up or kick them from behind and throw them at other enemies, where if they hit one, they bounce like veggies. If they don't hit anything, they just fall off screen. While they are being held, they start squirming, which hurts mario after a certain amount of time. When they are big, they can be ridden without taking damage, and to stun them, you need to spin jump or ground pound, during which they will not be able to be picked up, only kicked. For their winged variant, they jump exactly like tweeters but otherwise function the same. The variant that doesn't fall off ledges will chases mario when they have wings. When they are winged, the thrown version of it has lower gravity. They also don't lose their wings when stepped on.
