does anyone know how to fix a situation where the water in the toilet flush 'bowl' doesnt stop and it goes to the overflow pipe? its happening because when the 'big balloon' goes up with water the thing its supposed to 'touch' to stop water flow from the mains isnt working i think if i was to pad it so the gap between the two is less might help.. a video would help - sorry but i dont know the proper terms
Ответитьhaha! good video... - :)
ОтветитьGreat stuff. Really helpful
ОтветитьThanks so much! Just fixed on ours on within an hour of collecting. Really easy to follow :)
ОтветитьThanks alot 😃 I did it! I did it.. Feeling like a plumber now.
ОтветитьGreat! Thank you for this video. Please where does B& Q stock the handle ?
ОтветитьAm a single mom just learnt something new
ОтветитьThank you! Worked a treat 🙂
ОтветитьOn the bit where the nut fixes the rod,I've got a (sodding) metal pin that goes through the rod, fixing it in place , which is rusted solid(so I can't move the nut off) . Should I just try snapping the ends off the pin* , so it's as flush to the rod as possible, and then see if I can coax the nut over ?
*it's so close to the nut I might just have to file it 😬
Nice one mate
ОтветитьOnce I watch the video it was very easy job to do afterwards
ОтветитьHi, got a dilemma with bath/shower fawcett. To run the bath the water mixes fine. If I were to use the shower the water only comes out increasingly 🔥. How do I fix this. Wanting to put on new thermostatic fawcett. In place.
ОтветитьWell gonna pay a visit to plumbing supply store in the morning. Lil wanders broke the handle.
ОтветитьWhy do you keep telling me about completely unrelated videos? I am trying to watch your video on a flush and you keep ranting about your other complete irrelevent videos...?
ОтветитьJust replaced my flush handle. With your help it was so easy. 😃 Big thanks for making it so easy. 👍🏻😃
ОтветитьHow do you trim the metal bar inside if thats to long
ОтветитьFantastic simple clear video
ОтветитьCame over from Shoestring Jane.
Ответитьcheers
ОтветитьCheers helped me out big time
ОтветитьBrilliant
Ответитьthanks very much boss
ОтветитьI thought I had the same issue but when I checked the cistern, it looked as if the pump was not working properly. I could still flush the toilet but had to push the lever several times for the toilet to flush.
ОтветитьAre you a plumber? I think not, because you give clear directions ;-)
Ответитьthankyou for this!!
ОтветитьThanks for this. The metal arm on my lever snapped this afternoon. Lots of calcium build up on the metal, I live in a hard water area. Got to go out and buy the right sized lever handle. Will try to fix myself - and save some dosh on a plumber! Hopefully!
ОтветитьInformative video and you're a funny guy 😀
Ответитьcheers mate took 5 minutes to do after watching, much appreciated.
ОтветитьThank you for showing this, as mine needs doing and I did not know what to do. I am a Woman after all. lol.
ОтветитьThank you for the guide
ОтветитьI managed to somehow remove the metal link from the white plastic pillar which pulls up , abyone how how to reconnect the link to the white pillar???? It’s moved down and I can’t grab it
ОтветитьThank you, you made it clear and no problem.
ОтветитьThanks for this! What do I do if I've dropped the needle?
Ответитьthe " hook " is called the " C link " throw the plastic lever in the bin, they are crap, use a
" BRASS CISTERN LEVER ARM LIFT / LEVER ARM FOR TOILET SYPHON / LINKS FLUSH, " other wise you will end up with same problem ,and use a brass or an " A4 stainless steel round head or cheese head set screw, unless you ra plumber who wants to come back later, to do this again, and again.
The bottom of the metal hook came loose and I can't see how to put it back on? Has the plunger it was attached to dropped down too far? How do I get it back up?
ОтветитьI had to replace my toilet handle and this video certainly helped. Thanks ever so much for your video! Super useful!
ОтветитьAww bless you, easy peasy, proper blokey/dad talk as well haha video was amusing 🙌🏽
ОтветитьThank you...I just fixed my broken cistern handle-you made it look easy & it was...so you made it possible to teach an old dog new tricks😂❤
ОтветитьSuccessfully replaced my flush handle for the first time! Thank you for the instructions. :)
