Mega Man (the gameplay) meets Duck Tales (the look) with a bit of Strider (the hanging).
Never played it but looks like fun.
I like the way the game looks.  It shows that 2-bit monochrome graphics can work, especially when viewed on a "normal" screen and not a small, blurry, unlit LCD screen!

This is a damn good port on the GB. I also like that fact that the level layouts/designs are kinda remixed from the NES version. Both versions are absolutely worth playing.

That dialogue chirp hurts me ears and it's creepy sounding. Should've used that sound effect in Gargoyle's Quest lol

This like an exact copy of the nes version wich i happen to own. Awesome, might get the gb version just for shit and giggles.

Very entertaining game, although 2 of the 3 powerups are circumstantial except for the power of lightning, it is also a bit annoying that enemies reappear when you go back offscreen as it is often necessary to avoid damage (This even taking in consideration the shield). Another somewhat strange thing is the physics of the character's fall but in general the game is good, both in visuals and in soundtrack.

this was my very first video game and some cleaning lady stole my game boy + game while on vacation from my hotel room. i still hate that bitch to this day

He's Launchpad From Ducktales And Ducktales Reboot. I enjoyed the NES version since I was 8 on my old tablet on the app NES Nostalgia. And with other games..

Though I prefer the NES version, still might buy this version too for my GBC because it looks fun:)

I didn't know there was a GB port of this.
It looks and sounds almost exactly like the NES version.

Got this for NES and GB many years back, pretty much feels like a Mega Man game, but with Darkwing Duck instead (And not able to take defeated bosses weapons). The Capcom/Disney marriage in those days seemed to have put out one great game after another (Mickey Mousecapades doesn't count as that is truly a Hudson Soft game), though Adventures in the Magic Kingdom is that one dark spot in that marriage.

Capcom ported all of the "Disney afternoon" NES games to the Game boy, except for the Chip n Dale games. Imagine how they would look since the playable characters are so small compared to everything else. Either just two pixels that looks nothing like them or zoomed in so much that you can't see much. And Capcom would probably not even bother to try to make it multiplayer.

I love this game, but I just dislike the last stage as it is so damn hard ! The Tower's boss - Moriarty the mole was challenging as well.

I remember playing this as kid. Thought the gold bars & diamonds were jetpacks and crystal hearts, what did the G stand for? Never saw an episode of the TV show though.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Game Boy version of the theme song just adds a unique punch to it due to the sound hardware. That key change at the repeat always gets me.
