The Generation Cup at The Omni Homestead (July 2024)

The third leg of Omni Hotels & Resorts’ inaugural Generation Cup took place July 13, 2024 at The Cascades, our renowned course nestled within The Omni Homestead Resort. Amidst the rolling greens and challenging fairways, twenty-one teams fiercely competed for the opportunity to grace the Texas fairways of Omni PGA Frisco Resort next May.

In a thrilling climax marked by a sudden death playoff culminating in a decisive par-5 birdie on the 16th hole, the father and son tandem of John Rush and Samuel Rush emerged triumphant in the net division. Not far behind, the father and son duo of Kevin Stottlar and KC Stottlar secured a commendable second place with a solid showing, including a critical bogey on the 16th.

Over in the Gross Division, Anderson Payne and Wesley Payne clinched victory, earning their ticket to Frisco on the strength with an impressive five birdies punctuated by an eagle. Their stellar performance narrowly edged out the uncle and niece pairing of William Hopkins and Caroline Gilreath, who secured second place just two strokes adrift.

In the Pro Division, Christian Fagan and Jamie Fagan secured a well-deserved victory, earning themselves a visit to Omni PGA Frisco Resort, extending their winning tradition across Omni properties.
