ОтветитьMy wife and i have an annual income combined of 102k before taxes. We can save 30k in 6 months. We don't have any experience obviously since this will be a new field for us but we will gain as much knowledge as possible, hopefully find a genuine mentor! Im 24 and shes 23 so we just want to grow and prosper to be set !!! My first question, how much money do I need to start everything, I know it will vary based on what type of restaurant. Im thinking bar & grill or Mexican restaurant type of setting.

I worked in restaurants performing various duties in my late teens, but I'm in my early 40s now and I know a lot has changed. However, I'm passionate about food. I love to cook and I love to serve people. But it's more than just cooking, it's the culinary arts I love so much. I live in a place that doesn't have a lot of "good" food. But it's a good community. It's a big small town. I have dreamed my whole life about owning a restaurant. I know it's difficult. I don't live in a fantasy world. But in one part of the video, you talk about how you used to travel but now "there are no sick days". I guess I'm scared to give up certain freedoms that I have right now. I work from home, I make 6 figures (in a fairly cheap area in the country to live), and I get to enjoy a lot of time off; including a 2 week holiday break every year with my current company. So how did you convince yourself to give up your freedoms to chase your passions?

ОтветитьJust want to say thank you. I live in Stuttgart Germany, I'm black American with a German lady partner, and girlfriend LOL. Our place is doing ok after 4 years. it's hard work as you said. We are both up in age and still trying to move ahead. I am also an Entertrainer.
Our thing is a lot of time we don't have the power to keep going day by day. Open at noon, we close early at times and we know that is not good. We need help but don't have the money to pay for it, We Need to stay open longer but are too tired and again no help. What can we do? We have music, open-air 5 times a year, 300 to 400 people, Free cover! It's hard fighting the city to do things, to let us have things, OMG. This is a paperwork country. HELP and Thank you
