If I swipe wipe data in that case are all gallery photos are going to delete or not ??

If my phone got Encrypt after install TWRP and I format data (fix Encrypt) the OS Will removed??

So in short.. on installing a "ROM" (Stock or Modified Based ROM) you need to wipe Internal Storage / Data to wipe overall partitions including the data itself ?

While in Custom ROM, don't need to wipe the Internal / data cause the partition is still necessary, just do a format data to reset, for a proper clean flash ?

Am i right ?

Hey munchy , when I boot to twrp of my redmi 4a and go advanced wipe , I can't see vendor in it. What may be the reason? Recently I had unlocked boot loader and installed twrp and phone has stuck on boot image. So I had flashed DOT os by checking dalvic, cache, system and data . No vendor was present at that time also. Fortunately phone booted to new official DOT OS. But now no vendor present in twrp

And Fctory Reset?

Wipe data dont wipe storage/emulated/0/Android/data but /data
