That is a part that NO ONE should ever have faith in again, Its garbage. No proper heat treating, garbage metal on the weld. Who in their right mind would trust that abortion?

I Dont understand the reason for the pin connecting the two shafts other than allignment but you can do tha another way, cuz before all that area of the shaft was fused all the way from inside to out, but now with that pin and only welding over on top of that is only making a ring of contact between the two shafts which has to at least make it 25% weaker than what it was originally, the only good for that pin is sideways bending force as it will be locked in there as if it was a solid shaft but for rotation, its only a ring of contact and not even that thick and that pin isnt gonna help with the reducing any turning stress from that weld ring.
