How do you buy puts?

for beginners? once you got past call and put I was completely lost, all your "explanations" used terms and phrases that I don't know either, but you didn't explain those. 5 minutes and all I got was call up and put down, the rest was untranslated greek.

If options trading than only decentralised one. I want to have my money in my own wallet. Therefore I’m going for Foxify!

I definitely prefer selling versus buying options since the Probability of Profit is so much higher. Selling the around the 20 delta strikes provide an 80% POP.

So, do day traders just exit the trade earlier than the options actual expiration date? That something I’ve never understood. If that’s what they do, are they penalized with a fee for doing so? Just curious

@Peachy Investor! I have a question. If I want to Buy Puts I need to buy Put for $4 and sell it for $5 or more to be profitable? Or buy Put for $4 and sell it for $3 to be profitable?

I think one of the things that confuses me is that the option chart and prices is different from the stock

It seems no matter how many times I do a deep dive on options, I’m always bamboozled when I return to do one. I think if I trade them more it will sink in better.

Coupons "expire worthless." 😂 I love the analogy. On a side note, my biggest fear is IV crush. I'm still trying to learn how to predict when IV will change.
