very nice tuto. But I am a little confused with interpret footage because i have seen lot of tutos changing speed rate and using optical flow you cannot use here. when you modify all the clips in import media window, is it destructive with respect to adding these in timeline and then changing speed ? at least, without color labels you wouldn't be able to remember the original frame rates after interpret footage.

Chris thanks for linking me to this video from Twitter a couple of weeks back, really appreciate it. Pretty sure I have been doing this wrong now for a long time. I always dragged the footage to the timeline, right-clicked on it, and changed the speed there. Not sure if it has the same effect or not but it was likely more time-consuming for sure. Again thanks to both of you for these fantastic videos, they help a lot.

whats the difference b/w slowing down footage using speed rate option Vs your procedure shown in the video ????

I'm having the hardest time with this. I have a clip that is 1080p 120fps, and I specifically need to count frames between two points in the video. I need the difference between frames X and Y on a 120fps timeline, but it keeps maxing out at 60fps. How do I make my timeline 120fps? I don't need to render it at 120, just view the frames
