How do these things compare to where you live? Any surprises?
ОтветитьPut in a kitchen is ridiculous !
ОтветитьI love the govt house rental and management systems especially the way the houses are built. What I don't like is the movement of properties from one new home to another.
Ответитьwhen they remove the kitchen are they sure that it's gonna fix to the new kitchen?
ОтветитьThat's interesting 😊
ОтветитьDo Germans get sick of WWII movies?
Ответитьi have german ancestors. very interestng! {pun intended for those who know!}
ОтветитьRenting a home in Germany needs to install your own kitchen? Holy Jesus! In CA, you will need to apply a building permit and a contractor license for that!😂😂😂
ОтветитьIs the kitchen thing an internal gag? Or is it for real?
How crazy one have to be to move its kitchen out of the apartment? Like you would find another one with the exact same measures and layout…
The house moving part is definitely something we do in England. I've not heard of the kitchen furnishings being moved here, but it's a smart move if one is moving into a similar sized house!
ОтветитьAs an American with some German ancestry, I am very intrigued with the idea of having "house shoes". Hardly anyone in the USA does this. It makes sense to take off your outside shoes and put them at the door and not wear them around the house considering what you are bringing in on your shoe's soles. So yucky. Growing up, my parents never did that, so I didn't either. I would like to change that habit.
Vielen Dank!
Climate catastrophe...really??
ОтветитьSeems like Germany is really similar to Belgian
ОтветитьWhat about newly build flats in say frankfurt? Are they semi furnished or you gotta bring everything
ОтветитьThe kitchen thing will never make sense
ОтветитьThank you for the video ❤
It would be perfect to watch the same style channel about the UK, USA, Canada, Australia
Varför är tyskar så grymt och otrevliga?
ОтветитьI need German friends to teach me about German culture & language.
ОтветитьWaw, Germans are so stingy
ОтветитьNowadays, here in Toronto, the cost of a 100 m square apartment flat would buy both towers of Munich’s Frauenkirche.
ОтветитьI have to say, almost all sounded spot-on, except that it's not allowed to just live in caravans or mobile homes as one needs to be officially registered somewhere. So these caravans have ro be put in caravan parks. Also there officially one cannot live all year around bcs it's not a home :) we love camping but are no hobos!
And empty kitchens with no stove and sink are not common in West Germany unless in the cheapest category of flats, and even there not often. As a German I was rather shocked they had these empty kitchens in East Berlin and other East German cities...
German living looks like a nightmare.. Love going to holiday there but crappy overpriced appartements and wooden boxes on wheels is just 💩
ОтветитьWhat has happen to this series and Rachel DW?
ОтветитьHaha. I have all those things. I'm living the full German life!
ОтветитьNot my mom getting me to buy birkens the other day and I ain’t talking about the bag
ОтветитьHow often you have to air your flat out?..
ОтветитьThat guy wasn’t German.
Ответитьa single woman and a cat, obviously
ОтветитьDon't forget the "Mülltrennung" (Waste sorting) - it's a science in itself. Many Germans rinse plates before they put them in the dishwasher. And most cars have manual transmission because automatic transmission is widely distrusted.
Ответитьstop glorifying as if germany is the only great country -!
Ответитьtwo duvets
ОтветитьIt is typical German that not a renter choses a flat, but a flat choses a renter.
ОтветитьSo brief but so informative! Vielen Dank!
ОтветитьIt's NOT normal to take the kitchen with you
ОтветитьI (German) am only 20 and already moved 5 times lol
Ответить😌😌🤗
ОтветитьIts not a shock the furnitured apartment, house.. cuz anyway now everywhere in eruope you are asked if you want your rooms with or without the furniture
ОтветитьOne thing I loved (perhaps in moderately newer apartments) is the window open 2 or 3 ways for easy cleaning and a ring the bedding. Wunderbar!
ОтветитьI like the content but you speak much too quickly!!! let the people understand your good texts. Please
ОтветитьI can make a contribution to DE with a bit of your help,,, please?
Ответитьfunky windows that open in about ninety-twelve directions..
ОтветитьI was born in Germany and I'm getting stressed just watching this
Ответитьhi
ОтветитьLet's not forget taking care of the sidewalk in front of your building: if you have a house, you often need a WINTERDIENST to shovel the snow; if you live in an apt, then there is an arangement with the HAUSVERWALTUNG or OWNER to take care of cleaning the stairwell and shoveling the snow or raking the leaves. It is an insurance issue in case someone falls on our sidewalk.
ОтветитьCannot wrap my head around the Kitchen gimmick. Makes 0 logical sense to remove a kitchen. Just include the kitchen quality in the rent price....
ОтветитьThat old fashioned measurement thing - I found the exact same one in my first rental apartment in München. So funny to know that it’s a common thing to have😮
