you say the word "home" really really weird.
ОтветитьLove the PG for live, but really struggle with the volume between presets. Tried setting the volume pedal to global vs. per preset, but likely doing something wrong or it’s broken. Thanks for the video. I will try factory resetting it and trying again!
ОтветитьWhat a great,useful video, thanks!
ОтветитьBUT does it djent or will it chug 🙂 Nice review btw
Ответитькогда жы по русски научился хорошо говорить?))))
Ответитьhad to sub after this vid so good loved the tones and practical demo of this fun lil thing
ОтветитьQuestion for you Max. How would you use one of these with an amp? I know you could turn off the amp and cab sims but if I wanted to download a nice patch from the Line 6 site, it wouldn't sound right through my amp because it would already have the amp/cab set. If I turned them off to play through my amp, I would lose the correct patch sound. Does that make sense? Any decent workaround you can think of?
Ответитьi have no problem with the 1/4 balanced outs because most interfaces have balanced 1/4 ins, so the cabling is actually cheaper to buy.
I think the "adapter" you showed was the wrong too, It should be a male to adapt. so care people who may run out and buy one.
Does each setting that you create have the option of controlling and adjusting its volume output? So there’s not a big change in volume when you change effects?
ОтветитьThe Zoom G3x cost only around £100 about 10 years ago and has XLR output , so does the Hotone Ampero which is £100 cheaper than the POD Go, so cost shouldn't be an issue really.
ОтветитьIt could be real great thing if you can do the same type ko review with boss GX 100 which is new and most of the people are trying to compare it with line 6 pod go .
ОтветитьThanks for the great video. My Pod XT Live just dropped dead after 16 years of service. Strongly considering this rig to take its place. The ease of recording at home is what I’m after.
Ответить"Let's downgrade." Substitutes iPhone for the Galaxy. CLASSIC! 10/10
ОтветитьThanks for taking the time to make this Video, awesome guitar playing and information!
ОтветитьHi, I would like to connect it to the Eleven Rack as an effect without an ampsim. How should one do that?
ОтветитьGreat review! Thanks.
Ответитьthanks for posting, is the Pod Go compatible with The MacBook m1 silicon?
ОтветитьNice, thank you.
Are your pre-sets available anywhere? (Factory pre-sets are no useful to me.)
Thanks so much for making this video! Super helpful for a super noob\beginner like me. I just got the POD Go last week and it's my first pedal board so it was a little overwhelming at first but this video help me learn things about it that I didn't even know was in it! Thanks again, great video.
ОтветитьHye! Can you show how to recording with DAW with the Line 6 POD GO ?
ОтветитьI use a Line Helix rack for gigs with my band, i have my rack and mixer all in one case. so im looking for a bedroom/practice board that i can use some sounds with that will get me through what i need.. with your video you have convinced me the POD is a real alternative..
Great work
Love it! Toss mine in laptop case, carry on plane, DI box into the house if we are playing real venues. Worked amazing at the Whisky a Go Go and it’s even great at a local dive bar on Long Island.
ОтветитьSuch a good pedal but Line 6 distortion SUUUUXX!!!!
ОтветитьYou got that unit sounding wonderful! I’m a long time pod fan (I’ve had every version of their amp modelers from the red bean all the way through the Helix). They keep getting better with each release. I am very happy to see the POD Go sounding so great. Thanks for a great video.
ОтветитьHi can you review the valeton gp 200. ..
Ответить👏👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьHow Long the battery lasts?
ОтветитьAny chance of sharing you settings for that Lead REV patch? Love the sound you came up with for that one. Thx.
ОтветитьSo I've had mine for 2 years: I have learned a ton... note, I'm a long time Dsp based tone guy from the late 80s... specifically, the original Rocktron Chameleon... yes I still have it... needs an output ic😂... I digress😊 the PODGO is a gamechanger... affordable, and very "realistic" ( I mean, tone is relative, bad tone is poodoo). And I confess to owning several previous incarnations of the POD, the Hd500x, and the XT LIVE, in well over 500 shows as a coverband guy... they have been, for the most part, bulletproof, but not indestructible. My PODGO, not upgraded to the latest because of a sync issue that "froze it"... once burned, never again...
has all of the options a full 12 space rack contains. WARNING: since it has only 1 sparc chip, it's dsp power is limited... note: efx/preamps etc, are limited by the specific effects dsp usage, no different than a slightly underpowered ie: student laptop. The biggest offenders are convolution reverb, some of the more esoteric overdrive, pitch, and other modulation efx, so... pick wisely... the basic offerings, L6 branded, sound pretty good...
Now I love reverb, flanger, tape delay... so how to save dsp? Use the stereo loop, assignable any where in the chain to offload the reverb to a dedicated device...
In my case, I use a flamma ekoverb... cheap, cool, and reverb hold, yes!!!
I put it last in the chain... I really works well...
My chain: Charvelle San Dimas, Bad Horsie, JB Jr volume pedal, PODGO : Tilt / 808 / Trainwreck / Loop* / V30 Black / output Stereo > Tubeworks MosValve 962 ( i have a spare as well) > 2 ea custom sealed 1x12 w/ Texas Heat : also the option to add 2 ea LOPO slant front 2x12 for bigger venues... scalable, and portable. All of it resides on a 32" pedal train system... ❤
its 2023 they need to upgrade the pc interface......and bal outs (mic) and add a metal chassis......
ОтветитьIs there any tone sucking when using it with the four cable method?
ОтветитьHola Max, agradecería tu opinión comparando ésta pedalera line 6 pod go con la Boss GX 100 que acaba de salir. No sé si has podido probar la pedalera Boss GX 100. Cuál te gusta más? Cuál creés que es más importante? Muchas gracias
ОтветитьThis is really blooming good, dude :) - extremely useful
ОтветитьThank you for showing how to switch immediately from volume pedal to Wah!! Nobody guessed it in 1000 videos I watched on Pod Go.
ОтветитьGreat video man, thanks
ОтветитьI run mine from main out directly into my headrush FRFR108 and XLR from that to the desk.
ОтветитьIs it USER FRIENDLY???????????????
ОтветитьThanx this video convinced me to get the pod go. 👍
Ответитьno build in metronom, how stupid
ОтветитьTwo years later and this is still the best overview of the features I've found!
ОтветитьGreat review! Very complete and accurate. Although, I think you didn't mention that you can setup global settings of the output to have the complete chain sound out from the AMP OUT, and not only before cab sim. Thanks again! Great video.
ОтветитьWOW! The old phone thing is BRILLIANT! I just got the GO Wireless (Like yesterday) and need an easy quick solution for headphone click! Why didn't they put that in there? I am in awe though going from the Spider V 240. Line 6 has come so far in the last 5 years or so!
ОтветитьThe tuner can do the 432Hz? Thanx
btw Subbed
Now i know simply what is guitar procesor and how it used in Home :) great 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Ответитьcurios if/how you could use a talk box with a multi board like this? (using amp modeling DI to mixer) Mic the personal monitor with talk box routed through that?
ОтветитьHad one of these for approx 2 years now.. just cant get the right sound. Its far to complex for an old school guy like me. Spent many hours just to end up getting the same sound as my trusty old school effects. End of the day you only really need a couple of effects. Think I'll just let one of the grandkids sort it out...!!😂😂😂
ОтветитьYour intention to help is greatly appreciated! Most detailed review/assist video I have ever seen!! Thank you!
