I remember watching this 6 years ago live. The feature and scope creep is unmatched. But for every mechanic that is in the game, the detail and realism is unmatched comoared to any other game. This game is a one of a kind and CIG should be proud of all of the advances they have made in developing the tech needed to pull off the types of dreams we all have for this game

Actually Chris, as it turns out six years later it looks like the large majority of this presentation was faked. Star Citizen 4.0 sounds awesome, but will anyone care in 2032? who knows.

2021. backers started to be suspicious

lol, 890jump and salvage in 3.2 :P

But at least the jump point will still be in 4.0. only 6 years later. It's kind of weird to see how drasticly they changed their development outlook. And I joined in 3.5 when their quarterly release was on the rails. THere is so much to be done in this game before it can become whole. ANd I'm glad to be in this slow but steady journey.

So its now 2021, and we still don't have that landing pad or crashed javelin lol.

1. Scripted Storm (storms are here now, just not in the cinematic, scripted way shown here)
2. The Worm (native to Leir system apparently)
3. This specific mission (and the scripted AI)

All of this is pretty much exactly in the game. This actually did age well for 2021, just took them 5 years lol

4 years ago and still nothing in real life...

After I play this this week. I can say, yea, they getting there. Be honest , very far away from final release . But I bet this can put other so called big company in shame . I really enjoyed the alpha . The ships , and mining , the bounty, the delivery , the dog fight , took me 2 days to explore one star . Can’t wait
