Take out the fans from the bottom in the "in between" case and it's going to do much better.
ОтветитьLeft mine 5 years while using it...yeah the poor gtx 1050 died of dust half way through a warzone match lol
Ответитьthe corner of a sort of industrial office and a cluttered office/bedroom floor are different levels of dust and airflow tho
ОтветитьI wonder why you guys and many others from different countries say eww or noo this is disgusting, guys,it's only dust,it's not a bathroom thing mixed with shit haha,it's just dust.I think that many people out there that have the pc on top or a table is is more inteligent than the ones that put their pc´s in other places, why?,because they can open it whenever they want and clean it very easy, while others have to grab their pc,put them in a place to open it and clean it,i think over a table it´s the best option for me intead of hiding it.
ОтветитьWhat is a neutral pressure room,?
ОтветитьAll this video needed was some thermal information too
Ответитьtest is unfair to high positive pressure because you didn't use filters on the intakes, like you did with the balanced.
ОтветитьRedo this with non filtered high air flow cases and show us how to clean
ОтветитьWeird choice to not have fans in the same positions on all of them with different orientations.
ОтветитьInteresting
Ответитьi used a desk fan to overclock my old 486dx2-66 to an 80 to help games like formular one 99 back in the day
ОтветитьYou should have test it with a cat
Ответитьwow. the results a certainly in, Linus definitely needs a beard
ОтветитьThe in between would have a better airflow => more dust you get. The others have less dust because the computer doesn't breath.
Ответить-- Way late to the party on this, and someone probably answered it. How do computers get gummed up. Number one best way is to smoke around them. That tar is sticky and at times conductive, and a bitch to get off. You want to ruin your PC, smoking around it, or even in your house is a damn good way.
Side note: That is as bad as people with notebooks with intake cooling fans on the bottom, and they set it on a sofa/bed/towel/etc restricting airflow and turning their laptop into solder stalactites.
this is why you should all use positive pressure cases :D
And clean your filters more than once a year :D
thats one week in my place (when its clean)
Ответитьouty sounds like audi
Ответитьmost people can’t think 1 year later 😂
Ответитьput all your intake fans in p, run the pc do a smoke test and see where the smoke escape. then put a exhaust fan near it and lower down the rpm.
ОтветитьWho’s here from the 2023 Linus & Luke Cleaning video?
ОтветитьNoice! ty for the followup. So filters on intake fans and positive pressure then? With a good sealed case that is lol. glhf fam
ОтветитьOh my God, has it been 5 YEARS SINCE THIS VIDEO????
Ответитьso finally what is the best
ОтветитьNah why is a construction zone less dusty than my house? If I ran my PC for a year straight without dusting it would be a fire hazard.
Ответитьi want to see this experiment again, but put one PC in a vape/smokers area, dust layers fast
ОтветитьThose standard air filters are pathetic. You must try something like PU foam -- it's cheaper and MUCH more effective. Although you'll need server fans. But because of the PU foam, they won't sound that much.
ОтветитьThis video neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeds to get pushed more.
ОтветитьI have 3 intake fans and 2 exhaust
Ответитьtry again but let 1 PC open with no fan see what happens.
ОтветитьI miss tunnelbear
Ответитьwow
ОтветитьWAS IT SO HARD TO USE ALL IDENTICAL CASES ...?
ОтветитьI just moved my pc to a new case and accidentally do an all exhaust config. I didn't notice it until a friend point me out about it after I show them my pc. I plan to change it after a month to see how much a dust build up cuz I put the pc on slightly higher elevation.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьRepeat the experiment with three of each. Monitor operating temps over the course of the year. Run benchmarks every 3 months and a final benchmark after cleaning each system.
ОтветитьSo bottom line, you need to clean your computer in regular intervals regardless of what fan configuration you have.
ОтветитьDon't base your fan placement, around looks, they are made for Cooling! open it up every few months and blow it out, and clean your filters, duh.
ОтветитьWhat case is it?
ОтветитьClean your case at least once a month and you won't have to worry about dust.
ОтветитьI'm a Fan of this vid
ОтветитьFound it! I've been looking for this follow up!
Ответитьtry it again with a room full of Smokers for a year.
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the case that is being shown in the example
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the case that is being shown in the example
Ответитьi 100% experience alot more dust than this in a year.
ОтветитьOld video I know, but I am a little confused about the placement of the CPU cooler. I see you have it upside down, is that because in this orientation it is drawing air into the CPU? Or is it drawing air out?
I ask because I am playing PCBS2 and the arrow for the CPU coolers, if I place the central arrow to the back to blow the hot air from the CPU out the back of the case, the cooler is upside down. But then on coolers with a fan on the front, I assume it is meant to draw arrow through the fins to the back, and the central arrow in that case is pointing the opposite direction of airflow.
Just want to understand this better. If I know what the orientation of the cooler means here, maybe that will help me figure it out.
