Okay, maybe I'm way too late to comment, but I just finished this amazing series. And after trying to understand for 2 days with my monkey brain of what David actually did. I have come to the conclusion that:

David makes himself exist in every time & space simultaneously so that if his time is reset by the Time Eater, he will not return to the previous time & space because he is also in that previous time & space. That way, David can approach the Time Eater because at the same time he is also in the time & space that is closest to the Time Eater itself.




Well, that's just my amateur analysis and maybe someone else has answered exactly the same before me. But one thing is for sure, that is not duplicating power.

This scene and the ending of season 2 is peak xmen for me

This series sucks hard, the writer needs help like seriously bad.
Projecting much... Whoever the writer is needs serious mental help. 😢 I feel so bad for this person, this actually could have been a good show if it wasnt for all the bad lines, bad acting and bad CGI.

A lot of the hindu gods are artistically depicted with multiple arms and heads but it never made sense to me until this very scene from this show. They exist through all time and space and its crazy how much that makes sense and how this wonderful scene showed it.

He is very strong but his psychological problems makes him unable to use his powers.
