2021 iPad Digital Planner For GoodNotes

Just bought the One Note Business Planner. Is there an easy way to fill shapes? I want to change the color of the weekend days with a highlighter but kind of a pain to color it all would be easier to make a rectangle over the weekend and then fill but can’t seem to figure out if I can do that
