ОтветитьGreat explanation of everything. I just got my X back ,and started smashing pads with no feeling. This!!! Brought me backk. Thanks brother.
ОтветитьHow do you get that lush reverb on the snare?
ОтветитьBro thank you for the knowledge you give, I’ll take what give and bare fruit 💯
ОтветитьCool!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьGreat work ❤
ОтветитьHey , Marlow is it possible to do that double hihat technique on an Mpc 2000XL/2500?
Ответитьhow do i get the sequence to start from the top without having to hit locate everytime, its so annoying ...when i start or record the beat should start from the begining not where u stop the sequence at u feel me
ОтветитьAre your MPC-X's all working fine ? to the owners of MPC-Xs
ОтветитьWhat's the source of the kick? Built-in? Do you use external drum machines?
ОтветитьDo you like using the MPC X? I have the MPC One and really like the layout of the buttons but since I'm using a lot of Korg Gadgets from my iPad, I don't get to use the Q Links as often as I would like. Instead I use the knobs from MPK Mini MK3. The ecosystem is nice but some odd quirks like midi channels don't get summed to a Master bus. You have to bounce it and then assign it to a pad and play the whole thing again if you want to render the full track with everything.
But I have to resort to doing it this way because Korg Gadget doesn't have proper sequencer but the modules sound amazing for musical sketches. MPC has a good sequencer and I can use the chord function and experiment with different phat ambient pads. Essential for the music I make.
Do you know if there's a way to record audio directly from the headphone port? Any special cables or devices?
Your video is good but… a close up of the MPC screen would have been helpful.
Ответитьi learn something new from every one of your videos, both about sampling in general and the MPC live/x software.
thanks!
Just subscribed to your channel. This is the best MPC guidance channel. Period. You're da man!
ОтветитьLike the techniques bredren 👍🏾
Thanks for sharing
Owning an MPC1000, I wonder whether it has a comparable feature as the sample offset?
Did you own or try a 1000 / 2500 and found such a feature?
The only workaround coming to my mind would be to introduce silence right inside the WAV file itself, by resampling it or combining it with a silent wav...
Is there a way to do the delay just in the mpc software without a stand alone joint? I have the ren on the latest software but can’t seem to find a way to add the delay on the layer. I mess with the offset but it doesn’t really give me that delay. Any advise is appreciated 🙏🏾
ОтветитьGreat Video Marlow!! Happy New Year!!!! I love how you incorporate double hihats in your production!! I've tried it before on the MPC 200xl. It definetely gives your production who different groovy feel!!!
ОтветитьThx for dropping the knowledge on your techniques. DEFINITELY beneficial as there is always different methods to learn!!
ОтветитьRicky Tinze brought me here. Marlow made me stay. Your channel is amazing man.
ОтветитьYou got a drum loop pack?
ОтветитьThank you, do you have kits available which I can buy?
ОтветитьGreat tips! Thanks
Ответитьthat little hihat trick is dope, im steal that ! :)
ОтветитьCan someone touch base more on the difference between the functionality Program Edit/ Samples/ Tab4, "Randomize Screen" as Marlow says in the video. What's the difference between adjusting those parameters on Tab4, vs those of Tab2? From what I understand it to be, any adjustments made in Tab4 will Randomize for that specific function depending on the level set?
ОтветитьOne word... DOPE
ОтветитьDouble-hihats technique is dope! I like how you can easily change the feel by adjusting the offset 💣🤙
ОтветитьDo you have a video on how to choose the right kicks and snares
ОтветитьThere were a lot of cool tricks here that I'd never even thought of.
ОтветитьThanks Marlow can never thank you enough
ОтветитьGood job bro!! Tus baterías tienen un toque único!, Un abrazo locura!!
ОтветитьYou always inspire me to jump back on my mpc and experience sounds every time i feel uninspired. Thank you 🙏🏽
ОтветитьBlessings brother this work flow for your drums on the X are great, I love that you are very passionate into getting your sound how you want.
I have been experimenting for years on the Boom Bap and always good to see how other top beat makers work
Love your style
♥️👊🏼
Great that you are sharing this!
ОтветитьInspiring! Big up!
ОтветитьCan’t believe i wasn’t already subscribed! Just want to say thanks for the consistent content. Truly have accelerated my mpc comprehension. 🙏🏿
ОтветитьDope.
ОтветитьIs it possible to do all the things you did on touch screen with only knobs and buttons without touching screen? Or it’s impossible on this akai console?
ОтветитьI didn’t even know half these settings existed on my MPC X
ОтветитьThis channel is my favorite beatmaking channel. Should have a million subscribers.
ОтветитьSome of the best drum sounds and techniques. Amazing work! This will be a game changer for many, myself inlcluded
ОтветитьThat double Hi-Hat by using sample delay doesn' t work with older MPCs, right? I' m using JJOS2XL and as far as I remember that the program edit does not provide this function.
ОтветитьCan you make a video explaining the difference using a MPC and a DAW?
ОтветитьSo that is how it's done... thank you sir. One of the top tutorials.
ОтветитьSo where do you get all your drum hits from then? From records?
ОтветитьThankyou for tutorial.
ОтветитьThat snare is knockin
Ответитьthx#
