When they are doing the talking head clips and not talking directly to the camera (introducing themselves, etc) I think it comes across as super cringey because there is actually no one behind the camera. It's just a remote set-up, so they think it looks better to ask questions to "the person" behind the camera like "can I go?" Or "Don't keep that in!" But there's no energy coming back at them so it feels super awkward. I think one of them set up the camera, hits record and then just sits on the side to make sure they don't say anything wrong, but no actual camera person there?

When I watched the women in this video the three adjectives that popped into my mind were materialistic, narcissistic and vapid. To me, the only halfway genuine moment(s) were when they all sat down to eat the arepas together, other than that I feel like it's all feigned friendships for the camera.

I hate to be that person, but air B and B is not the most respectful business model in the first place. It makes it impossible for locals to find housing and it’s actually illegal in a lot of places even though it continues. The owners aren’t hosting tourists out of the goodness of their hearts, they’re doing it in lieu of renting to locals to maximize profits.
