What is Microsoft Office 365? A Beginners Tutorial

All I want to know is it integral for my MSI laptop to functionality or it's just a useless app?

How can I get a tutorial for Microsoft IT support role like office 365 support? What I often see if for users instead

My position with my employer requires me to use two emails from microsoft office suite and I use Microsoft edge to access one email and I use chrome to access the other outlook 365. My understanding is one of the apps is an online version and the one is my computer version, but I don't know how to determine the difference. I do know that I seem to have more features available from Office Suite using one outlook than the other. Do I need to install the apps from both microsoft outlook versions and just sign into the one drive for the outlook that I am using? I hope the information is clear enough that you may understand my question.
