I am a woodworker but have only ever built traditional furniture. I have always been interested in carving but have not made the investment.. yet. I would love to know how long a project like that takes from start to finish?

Amazing job. When I was watching, I was missing closeup shots, this would give it a cinema feal. Yet one other shooting angle which is imitating look by your eyes would be a win. Maybe camera under a chin could do that trick. This would really give your videos a feel of carving with your hands when watching. Think about it. I think it’s mesmerising. :)

Wonderful! I remember as a child having been tought woodcarving with my grandfather, the pleasure of the blade movement sensation, and the satisfaction that comes with the wood slowly becoming the desired shape (I was carving an angel). I wish I have enough time to do it again
