I hear ya, I understand why people are frustrated and Mad. I'm not thrilled with how everything has been going but, All I can do is wait for Them to figure it out. There's no other games like this on Xbox or PlayStation, This is the first true Flight Simulator game on a console in the history of consoles. That's why I'm trying to be as patient as possible. I've been playing console video games for 38 years straight I have always wanted a game like this since 1986 when I was playing Top Gun on Nintendo. So I'm definitely waiting for it all to get worked out, They will get it all figured out it just takes time. But I do understand everyone's frustration so far. Waiting all the time sucks but, I Love the game enough to wait.

Finally people are becoming aware of the downfall of this game. It’s been going downhill for 2 years. The game was brilliant on release. Ever since SU5 it’s been a shitshow.

I have spent almost more time problem solving than actually flying.

Several of my friends who are avid simmers for years. They have simply given up on this game a long time ago. I’m afraid to buy 2024, and the product is NOTHING like it was on release.

Extremely slow download speeds for more than a year (and it has nothing to do with my system). Issues now that should never be a thing 3 years into production. Same update issues as always.

I would pay $500 for a new sim. If only ASOBO had nothing to do with it.

I voiced my frustrations on the forums with constructive criticism and pictures to prove my points. I was banned for life. Couldn’t say anything negative.

What’s the point of waiting for the update now. It’s just unbelievable. 60/70 dollars plus adding and they can push out games. It’s messed up. There are other games like COD and they say we will update every when we say. It’s sad. Now should you get MSFS2024???

Are xbox players not able to play until SU15?

At this point I think there is only 3 things that they can do, and I only like the thought of one of them.
#1: get their shit together, it’s never impossible to do. This is what I want most.
#2: remove the game from Xbox all together until they can get the stability issues worked out but I hate the thought of this idea.
#3: remove all updates all the way until SU12. This is what I think will work the best.
I don’t see any other way of fixing the problem, they want money and the only way they will get it is if they provide what they promised.
And I thank you for how dedicated you are to your viewers and gamers, I respect you more than I can describe.

Afghanistan is where to be in the sim. Bagram Air Base OAXI to Kandahar OAKN. Mountains are lower quality compared to say the Alaska Mesh, but its still easy to get lost in those mountains. Even in the broken sim.

For EVEN BETTER mountains in the broken sim, OAXI to OAMS Bagram to Mazari Shariff in any jet. phew man fun times

I agree with you 100%, Microsoft's biggest mistake was hiring Asobo to program this flight simulator, which was a disaster. One of the biggest problems with MSFS 2020 is Asobo has been notorious for fixing bugs with it then releasing the supposed fixes in updates, which end up creating more bugs than the ones that were addressed in each update.

I know you’re on Xbox. I am too. I just bought an Xbox so that I can play when I’m in one of my other rooms in the house. But I mostly fly on PC. What are your thoughts about X-Plane? I know this is Microsoft flight simulator that we’re talking about but given all the madness that’s happening with these updates. Do you have any thoughts on X-Plane?

I’m in the same boat. I got a bunch of add ons I can’t even use cause it just crashes the game. Just money wasted. I don’t even bother with airport add ons anymore. Not reliable

110% agree I haven't played the game for about 2 months it's f**** terrible and a rip off.

DCS World has the trial option for 2 full weeks on all of aircraft ans maps its a great feature..
msfs2020 should do the same even if its just for 24 / 48 hours to a week if msfs2020 had that same option a would have a few less planes. nothing worse than buying something you thought you'd enjoy then realise its not that good for the price.

Completely agree it's been this way since SU1 to SU14. It's a disgrace. But the wait is almost over. At least for me in the beta everything works, I even bought more airports and re installed the ones that black screened me. There is good times ahead. Love the channel bro keep up the good fight 🤙

I agree with you 100 percent. I have never been happy with the feeling of sitting far out on a branch while a grinning man with a saw hovers over it's junction with the trunk ... hence I have been feeling I was out on a limb as a customer. Okay, this was their first try at simulation, but it wasn't Microsoft's first time ... Microsoft would have known damned well what we simmers expected and what the fallout would be like if we exploded over too many issues. I am at the end of my rope with this sim, the stutters are worse now and the long pauses are making me very agitated. Autopilots that don't work until you have left the vicinity of your departure airport and travelled a fair distance (and even then you have to be lucky), and a very poor excuse for an in-sim map/GPS are just two of the gripes I have. I am 4 years in with this sim and it' has just got worse. I am still seeing terrain popping and black tile lines on water, and those damned bars across river outlets are super annoying, not to mention all the sunken boats and jetties.

Four years are well and truly enough. We paid our money for a product that we knew was a work in progress but how much progress has there really been? I suppose that depends on an individual's perspective, but the basic problems experienced at the start are not only still there but in some cases have become worse. If it wasn't for Third Party Developers we would have probably given this sim away ... well, serious simmers might have done so. This sim needs to be cut into two separate genres, one for PC and one for XBox with two dedicated teams at Asobo working separately (with them sharing data at the office, instead of holding one platform up because of problems with the other one). I am a serious flight simmer and I have, since 1973, invested AU75,000 on sims (software and hardware etcetera) and I am feeling very let down. I do not consider or treat it as a 'game', and I would like to see 'game' dropped from the vocabulary - doing that might drive home to Microsoft and Asobo that we are not just a bunch of people with nothing better to do than play games. Treat it as a game and that's what we will get. We get what we ask for sometimes.

But as a real world pilot in VR and a decent PC nothing beats this sim.

im with you look how long it takes for microsoft to release stuff on market plc and like su15 thay still carnt sort that out i think thay must have a team of 5 for flight sim ok su14 for me works great no issues but i know this su 15 thay need to get it right as this is the last update but thay need to get a team that knows what there doing i know a lot of pc simmers are saying its all xbox fault but no i have friends on pc beta saying thay have problems with stuttering and stuff so its not the xbox thats the problem its the team that dont know what ther doing we should be all together on this whether your pc or xbox

When they announced that FS would be for Xbox around 2 years ago, I commented on the forums that they would need a version of FS for PC and a different version for Xbox. Guess what? I mostly got comments that I knew nothing about games programming, and I was ridiculed, laminated, shredded, dismembered, disembowelled, dematerialised, disolved and annihilated. But now the law of nature show what happens... I don't need to know all the details to understand the general principles.

I NEVER buy ANYTHING for MSFS until I see MULTIPLE reviews for it from multiple content creators first.

I will also point out that it is not that Asobo can't make a game that works, it is the technical limitations of 30+ year old code. MSFS is STILL based off of Microsoft Flight Simulator X's kernel. FSX was released in 2006 and it was based off code from previous sims. These are technical limitations that can not be overcome. This is why MSFS 2024 is a brand new engine, built from the ground up, making it a MODERN flight sim unlike MSFS 2020 which was limping along using ancient code. Asobo implemented a lot of new technologies into MSFS but where it will shine is MSFS 2024 where we will finally get something BASIC like multi threading. All of us out there with 8 core or more machines, doesn't mean squat when MSFS is limited to the first core. Does the game have problems, of course but the leap forward in graphical fidelity compared to ANYTHING on the market is STAGGERING. I believe Asobo always knew this was going to be a multiple generation project. They started with the FSX code and were working on the new game engine the entire time behind the scenes.

I don't buy aircraft anymore because when I do, I'm stuck whether they work or not.

This is MICROSOFT's claim to FAME!! Remember Windows. Odd number version doesn't work but even numbers works. It is Microsoft that is the way they are and has always been. I worked for them back in the 80's, believe it or not is their business model to take your money and give you a run around after they have your money so many other biz followed this and failed. But MS has always had the right people in tneir pockets, Judges etc., this is why when we were in the start we would say MS is the devil because we couldn't figure out how they get away with their B/S? so many people dirink the bath water slurp it and say it is good when it's crap.

This is so fucking infuriating, after a year, i finally get the crappy installer not to corrupt, and now there's a TWO HUNDRED gigabyte update which is mandatory? I don't have anough space for that, it was already a terrible 120 gigabyte update and now this shit? So crazy.
What even makes it 200 gigabytes? I bet a fourth of it is the game and the rest is just a satanic praise to microsoft.
