I love that you go over setting up routines for both Alexa and GHome

Nice job BTG. My good night routine is automated to autostart at a particulary time. I have my smart lights timed to turn off after a period of no motion. I also have my garage doors auto close a half hour after sunset and I I have my bedroom dot auto play brown noise at the time we typically go to bed. I do have a routine that checks my garage man door to let me know if it is not closed and locked. Keep automating my friend.

It's great. Even cooler and more to the principles of HA would be the same with local voice assistant and not one that needs a cloud connection

These are great! I also have SmartThings setup so when my living room light shuts off between 8pm and 4am, lights from the living room to the bedroom turn on at 5% and shut off after 3 minutes to allow you to see on your way to the bedroom. The bedroom fan turns on, the nest thermostat turns down to 68°, the front door locks and all the curtains shut, if they weren't already shut at sundown.
