Didn't work for me either, mine looks identical. I list my key, no batteries in it

Yeah it didn’t work

It worked! I tried using a framing hammer and it was successful. I then gave the top of the safe a few good hits with rubber mallet as I applied constant, moderate pressure to “door handle” and it opened right open
