Be aware that the childproof base component may not be attached to the coil, so when you unscrew the childproof component the coil remains in the top of the unit. If this happens you can remove the coil with your finger tips and screw it on to the childproof base.

The child safety lock feature is unnecessary and damn near impossible to remove. I wouldn't bother with the E-cig their are better options out there.
