will a macbook pro 16'' m2 base model work well with a 4k monitor 144hz? not so much for games but overall browsing and maybe something like photoshop, will it be completely lag free? anyone tested this?

Is there a cheaper dock just to get 4k 120 Hz out of my MP pro M1 and ideally charge it at the same time?

Can I connect two BenQ Eve's to any newer Mac? Would I just use up two USB-C outputs on a MBP or Mac Studio? What do I need to get 4K 144Hz on both displays?

You advice everyone to get a high refresh rate low bit depth, with terrible accuracy monitor for a mac? To see the cursor move smoothly? People that use mac's are not gamers but mostly creatives, and accuracy and bit depth is more important.

I use two gaming monitors (Gigabyte M27Q 144hz, 1ms) with my macbook m1 pro with all three screens at 120hz, and those monitors also give me 110ppi which is perfect for the Mac ecosystem (for external devices it's either 110ppi or 220ppi so you don't force the Macbook to rescale). Totally recommended.

I'd paid more for a 120hz display from apple, even like 2k for base model, 60hz is what puts me off from getting it

Today I received the Spectrum monitor and connected it to my Mac M1. However, I encountered an issue where the screen turns purple instead of displaying anything, unlike on Windows where everything works fine. I even tried it on an Intel Mac, but the problem persisted. Have you experienced a similar issue? If so, have you found any solutions? Thanks!

Does having an external monitor for macbook air m2 anyhow help increase the gaming performance? I usually only play games that demands less gpu power like Dota 2 but i need the frames for competitive advantage, should I get Macbook air m2 for some casual gaming with an external monitor? Since gaming on the laptop itself is only giving around 60fps at best on dota 2 low settings.

Thanks for the video. Does a gaming monitor act like VRR with video playback? Anotherwords, like my Promotion on my MacBook pro? In the UK most video is recorded in 25/50 fps and looks juddery on a 60/75hrs monitor.

as someone who edits a LOT of slow motion footage, having a high refresh rate monitor is super important when reviewing b-roll. Complete night and day when I need to watch those 120fps/120p videos. Honestly, if I edited normal shows and videos, I wouldn't have gotten my 165hz and 240hz monitors.

I have tried so many monitors it is ridiculous. My family makes fun off me for being the monitor guy. I have two apple studio displays and the pro display xdr but the 60hz ruins it for me! The best all around monitor for both work and gaming is the M32U. RTINGS agrees.
