Would you rather consume a poisonous plant from this list once, or give up your favorite food forever?

Aside from water hemlock, there is another type of hemlock plant that doesnt necessarily live near water, and its calked poison hemlock. It's very common and grows in many areas of the US.

I literally think I had to cut down a nightshade plant earlier today. good thing it was dead, because the reason I did was because it poked me in the neck and I was paranoid that the dog might eat it.

About tobacco:
It causes cancer obviously. But if you take nicotine gum, lozenges, or pouches, you won't get cancer.
Nicotine is addictive but not carcinogenic

Quite a few of these are native to the UK, and it's important to mention that the picture for nightshade was wrong, you spoke about Deadly Nightshade (Atropa Belladonna) and then showed a picture of Woody Nightshade (Solanum Dulcamara) with the purple and yellow flower. It's not the same plant, it doesn't even produce the same berries and since it's common in the UK it's important to know the difference, since the latter is nowhere near as toxic as the former.

We eat water hemlock raw like a salad.. And make a soup out of the deadly nightshade/belladonna not one but two of the species... idk it maybe because of the constant famine and drought by our forefather. Does that means we are immune to it? been eating them since I was a kid.

Wolfs bane is actually called Aconite and it's most common nickname is monkshood. It's found in gardens because people actually buy it. (*cough* my mother) Also here's some others: Death camas, yew (taxus baccata is the most known) , poison hemlock, and peacock flower. There's several phototoxic plants that are common in your life that have been in context poisoning you. Some such as these are Giant hogweed, celery, limes, and many more plants in the carrot parsley family which is what water hemlock and poison hemlock are in. Phototoxic plants can harm you at the touch like giant hogweed creating a big rash which will eventually turn brown and fade away but others like celery will make you prone to sunburns.

Number 10 is a frightening way to dye! And, I heard that potatoes, tomatoes, and bell peppers are apart of the same plant family as deadly nightshade! In fact, if potatoes aren't stored properly, they are lethally toxic to eat(green inside)* and can form a toxic gas that kills quickly!

*If eaten in this state, it is a nightmarish way to go! Probably 2nd to number 10 on this list!

I live next to a tree but the pink flowers I don't know what they are. BTW the only thing I did that was stupid was drink beer but I never ate poisonous plants of any kind. My mom died of pancreatic cancer I never smoked but dealt with second hand smoking because my family my parents were ignorant when smoking around me. My dad told me that he has every right to smoke in his car even though I have to ride in it and that I'm not the boss of him. If I refuse to smoke like my ignorant parents I will outlive them to be at least 98 or older when I die

We planted lily of the valley at one house? it's poison? It's easy to grow. We dug them up because they spread and took some home. Don't remember berries on it though. We didn't eat it. We wondered if the plants were still spreading out and growing where we had set them out and moved from.
