I personally feel given the price bracket of both the phones, i would like to go with oneplus 12. After oneplus 7 this is truly the flagship phone that Oneplus has unveiled. But here are few major cons with oneplus 12
1. OnePlus 12 is a bit heavier, weighing 220 grams (7.76 ounces) compared to the 205g (7.23 ounces) from OP11. The phone also gets thicker, presumably to accommodate a larger battery.
2. Oneplus 12 does not offer a temperature sensor and a barometer.
3. Oneplus has 100W fast charging which charges 0 to 50% in 30 minutes, could have been better with 120W as it has a bigger battery of 5400 mAh to charge. But it doesn't matter much.
4. Oneplus 12 has 3x periscopic zoom instead of 5x or 10x periscopic zoom as compared to its other flagship competitors.
5. Oneplus 12 has refresh rate of 120Hz which is lesser as compared to 144Hz offered by some of its other flagship competitors.
6. Oneplus 12 only offers IP65 protection instead of IP68 water resistance. comes with an IP65 rating, which means that while the openings on the OnePlus 12 are protected from fine dust (but not coarse materials like sand), there is no waterproofing. The “5” in the rating signifies that the phone can only sustain light splashes and rain and cannot be submerged in water. While an improvement over the OnePlus 11, the rating does not match up to other flagships, which come with far superior water resistance.

why xiaomi always applying beautification in faces if they preserve facial textures the camera performance will be way better .. xiaomi videos are incredible better than samsung one's only improve selfie and put autofocus .. and remove beauty

Everyone saying both are good..need to understand the comparison is between 2 mediocre cameras..u put them against apple/samsung/pixel..it would be a world of difference

Xiaomi 14 pro, is doing surprisingly poor in night. The neon of the building is pure crap.
Did not really expected this. During day even cheap phones can do decent images..During low light is truly visible the difference of the value. Better sensors are shining there. 1+ did absolutely better job. Despite, the night videos are really showing the HW difference, as not possible to cheat with longer exposure, unfortunately both performed cheap. Iphone is killing bith flagship killers in night video 😁😁😁😁.
Was in hope to get confirmation for the 14 pro in this video, while was surprised by 1+

Let's forget about the cameras for a second. I had a OnePlus 3t and a OnePlus 7. Then i switched to Xiaomi 11. I have to say overall OnePlus gives the premium experience more than Xiaomi. I don't know the reason but i felt like my OnePlus 3t was better than Xiaomi 11(don't compare the specs i am talking about the experience). But OnePlus has struggled the last couple of years so i didn't go for a OnePlus again. But i think they have done a pretty good job this time. I know it's not the best phone in the market but i will go for a OnePlus 12 this time.

OnePlus has bad color science in daytime.. and over processing in many samples. Xiaomi do not overprocess and has great color science in authentic leica mode. On other hand the night video and zoom capabilities of Xiaomi 14 do not look as they should on flagship in 2023-2024... Too bad for Xiaomi.

Xiaomi 14 is Better for me especially for social but Oneplus is really good

Xiaomi selfie "0.5 zoom" looks better than Oneplus12, that forces a closer shot. You can always crop in to the degree of the Oneplus12 AFTER taking the photo with Xiaomi. The Oneplus12 at night is SUPERIOR! Great vid!

I hope they finally fixed their mess with the face whitening they have on their OP 11.

Oneplus 12/Open telephoto is currently absolutely the best in the class, these night photos look absolutely great.
When i analyzed and compared on gsmarena OnePlus Open telephoto to all competitors it wasn't even close. I can't wait for the global release of 12.
