The Big Picture - Maharashtra Assembly action against AIMIM MLA: Is it justified?

They suspend him coz he is muslim and congress NCP its proven they r supporting RSS. Muslims must not support congress its dangerous politics congress is playing since 67 years. Sanjay Raut says muslims r not allowed to vote nothing happen. Mr.Kadam say if u dont vote BJP go to pakistan.

@Manoj Kumar nicely put but i think its important also to catch the intent of the action of the house( respect the country..one may not like the government of the day).Correct me if m wrong..recently a ysrc mla was suspended from andhra legislative assembly but some court intervened giving stay orders on suspension..how is this possible?

I think, the house has privilege to suspend or expel; it's legally correct and its action can't be challenged in any court. But it's ethically, morally and conventionally wrong. It sets a wrong precedent.

whatever BJP-RSS says u have to say it,u must say it otherwise u know what will happen? well i think this is first level of sending that MLA to pakistan.and there r many others who r in category.
i cannot believe BJP is so shameful to defend it.

what the unanimous support from all the parties to suspend a legislative member for just not saying what they wanted him to speak shows is the rising intolerance of not only religious nature or only caste based instances ,but also of imposing views and ideologies also. I don't need to prove somebody that I love my country !

This anchor has probably the poorest performance in mediating the program, interrupts a lot, sound very rude and doesn't articulate properly. I'd like to see a program where panel members are discussing the topic without undue interference.

BJP and RSS just trying to befooling citizens by diverting focus from their failures to unneccessary emotional issues.They must get back to the mandate of governance and resist from unnecessary polarization and petty/divisive politics and must learn to uphold the rule of the law.
