Is this another April fools?
ОтветитьCool tech. Thanks as usual for the cutting edge.
ОтветитьThat is such a nice device but like with many new devices, it seems a bit buggy (at least with the firmware I have).
This may be related to running Quasheng dock in linux under wine though. Do windows users find that buggy?
No link
ОтветитьDigiPi version out soon .
Ответитьanother interesting gadget, thanks
ОтветитьAdd networking and I'd be in...
ОтветитьThis is the one that is the modified AIOC?
ОтветитьThat's really how OHIS is wired?! How utterly idiotic. They could have easily made it use standard RJ45 Ethernet patch leads.
Ответитьhow is it compared to AIOC? any extra functionality (besides the multitude of connectors)?
ОтветитьThis is really cool. Is there a way to control this over tcp/ip with voice control? Or maybe some other gadget to do that with these cheaper hand held radios?
Ответитьnew
ОтветитьI have the same version as yourself, which has the APRS/TNC personality board. When the tranceiver board comes out, I'm actually tempted to buy a second URC with that one built in as a permanent installation. It's awesome how these wonderful pieces of kit are popping up these days.
ОтветитьHi Mat, interesting !! Cool little device. 73 Phil ON4VP
ОтветитьBrillian stuff. Am looking forward to the version with the built in transceiver !
ОтветитьI bought the original one and liked the concept so when Version 2 came out I bought that then bought the APRS board, I haven't got round to using either yet, need to solder that board, the next version looks really interesting
ОтветитьLooks cool and the aprs module is nice and useful. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьWow!
ОтветитьNo wonder you're asking what people are using this for....I'm stumped...
So you can buy this and use Chirp? Well I use Chirp often without this...
Same story with APRS...I have rigs & Pi's that use aprs fine without this kit...
Are there other uses not covered in the video, or am I missing something here?
I don't mean to pee on anyone's parade, the video is fine, the board seems well made etc...but why?
What real world applications am I not seeing here?
