Ultimate Io Guide! Tips, Loadout & More for Paladins New Champion

Io ult makes me laugh the hardest in the entire game. It brings them in the direction you shoot it so in big open areas, if you face slightly up, it'll sweep the enemy right up into mf space and it's so funny.

Who’s here in 2022 before Corrupted IO comes out?

A bit outdated but:
You can angle her ult to the ground, it will take a few seconds to move foreward. If like a term is smacking you, you can ult the ground to get him away and get a few more hits on him when he is in the ult.
Also the ult is not flat, its a sphere. Didnt know that until i started to try to get better at her ult xd.

It is also very effective to kill a flank bc they have lower hp and u can dmg them in the ult. :)

I can't tell you how many times I went to use my Ult and it catch the corner of a wall and got wasted, but Jenos can shoot through walls ;-;

I definitely think Life Link is her best talent but I did realize what they were going for with the three talents. Life Link is to support Frontliners, capping the point in their absence and healing them while they're on it. Goddess' blessing is for supporting Damage champions, building them into a wall as you heal them. Sacrifice is for supporting Flanks, giving you an escape as the flanks are often pushing themselves deep into enemy territory.

They also gave her decent damage and mobility options to keep up with Flanks, despite the fact that Luna being naturally immobile would root her down.

I find Goddess's Blessing to be very useful in certain situations.
My friends gave me some advice of when to use it and these are the scenarios:
- When you are against a Jenos you can potentially save your Void Gripped ally from dying.
- When you have a very mobile team and you need to heal them from afar, especially flanks.
- With Swift Arrows, it greatly enhances your peeling potential.
- Also very helpful when the enemy picks single target DPS, such as snipers and flanks.

Wait until people start using a double heal double frontline comp with Luna and two frontliners capturing point while healers heal each other only to be countered by Snipers lols... either way time to listen to feather light

I main Io/Ruckus but the one thing I really don't like about Io is that Luna dies automatically when the round is over. It's painful seeing her keel over for no reason at all.

Is it just me or does Io have really beautiful hands -

if a flank is chasing you and you have the card that heals you when you heal something, you can heal luna if luna is close and you will be able to survive a little longer

I think io is the most balanced healer

Nice video! But moonwalk is not a good card as main healer. It doesn't add anything to help support your team. Replace it with spirit arrows to help redeploy Luna more often.

I put the redeploy CD on my Life Link loadout, being able to instantly reposition Io almost instantly after putting her out is a godsend, especially when Bulldozers hit level 2s on the other team.

I think when you play ranked and only have one tank and no healers (fcking teammates always man i have nightmares bout them) you should get io for luna as a second tank

IO BUFF IDEAS: Let Io heal through walls, increase the heal radius of lifelink, remove the 1 second internal cooldown of moonlight, make moonlight feel more fluid and responsive, dont let her ult clip too much, increase the speed of luna to go to a place you want to redeploy her

Is it just me or is IO heavily inspired by Atalanta from the fate series

I have one question with io’s Starfall skin do I have to buy the $40 pack or is it just the battle pass because I can’t see it in the battle pass?

If you are using Life Link and are going against bursty AoE champs (especially Dredge), make sure to create a more tanky Luna loadout (reduced cooldown, more health). So Luna can stay alive more to heal your team more!

Having the luna redeploy cd card in your loadout at lvl 5 allows you to move luna about very quickly, moving her to your dmg/flanks so you can focus your jealing on the tanks (this is with life link). That and move luna out of harms way faster so you dont have the long cd when shes is killed.

One important card aswell i use in some loadouts is the one that low the cooldown of luna's repositioning while healing with right click. Basically you can move luna every 3 sec instead of 8: Very usefull in some maps. When I use this card my loadout is like same of yours, but without the less gravity card.

It's also worth to mention that Luna can't be headshotted. So Snipers will have a harder time dealing with her without bulldozer.

I was once able to ult an ulting Bomb King away from me just as he exploded. I took the damage but didn't get stunned and he was blasted away from me and died. I got Top Play for it but I don't have any recording software installed. I wish this game had a replay system cause that was the most epic thing I've ever done in this game and I'll never be able to relive it again.
