Awesome. Which is your favourite?
ОтветитьYou have an awesome collection, I am impressed.
Can I change the power source to 240v easily enough. I live in a 240v area and I would like to buy sharpener and do the conversion. Can that be done?
Would you know if a conversion was possible by changing/ adding a couple of wires to the existing power source to make it into 240v. I have seen the possibility to convert without pulling out the power source with the Panasonic combi of telephone and alarm clock. there were points you could solder, or would I have to replace the power source altogether.
How could I go about this change and which model would be the best to change. Thank you
Hello, I just got my KP-2K and already clean and fix. Do yow know what year this model is?
Thanks, great and superb collection you have. 👏👏👏👏🙏
Do you have any trays for a KP-33 ? I’m looking for one
ОтветитьNice collection. My Dad still has his KP-8a he bought brand new, it still works perfectly to this day. I actually cleaned it up a few years ago with a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with warm soapy water and its back to looking brand new! Personally I have a KP-150 I bought when I was able 18 or so. It works perfectly like the day I bought it.
It's a real shame what happened to Japanese manufacturing. They made some of the best stuff and now it's just sad to see Japanese manufacturing get pushed aside by cheap junk.
Just out of curiosity would you happen to know anything about blade alignment on the KP-33a? I have one that sharpens badly off center no matter what I do.
ОтветитьSorry Robert I don’t know anything about blade alignment
ОтветитьHi Barry, What an impressive collection! Could you share your knowledge about Panasonic pencil sharpeners with us? For example, the timeline of products releases and blade compatibility? I also have a few of them but some are noisier than others. People say they had different motors running at different speed/frequency, is it true? Thanks
ОтветитьWould you consider making another video? Maybe one more in depth? I'm interested in that KP-3 you have there.
ОтветитьBarry,I'd assume with that incredible volume of Panasonic sharpeners, you be able t come them to each other. What I'd specifically like to know is, which Panasonic Japanese models create the longest and finest tip? I have a KT-100, for 40 years now, and works as well as ever. IT's got a very nice point, quite sharp tipes indeed, but Ive heard others can provide and even longer, finer tips. Do you have a suggestion to which model consistently develops a clean, fine point?
I have tested some "new" sharpeners in the stores, and they are all crap so far. Thanks for your help!
