love the flares
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьPlease, don't trash the lake just to test a toy :-) This is the lake where you can fish.
ОтветитьHey Jeff ever thought of getting into ham radio?
ОтветитьPoor lake
ОтветитьOh-rye-in. Not or-e-on.
ОтветитьPlease don’t tell me that’s how you pronounce “Orion”. O- Ryan not or-I-on
ОтветитьWould you ever consider doing beer reviews again? I really liked those videos
ОтветитьSpot on, Jeff. I was an Aircrew Flight Equipment technician in the Air Force for 28 years and did periodic sample tests on the different lots of signaling munitions we had on hand to ensure they were still good. We also took the aircrew out once a year to make sure they got some hands on. Last thing you want when you’re having a bad day is to a) waste precious time figuring out how to use your gear and/or b) find out it’s unserviceable at the worst possible moment.
ОтветитьO-ryan
ОтветитьWow really awesome video!!! :D
ОтветитьThey are great fired starters
ОтветитьWould you consider doing a video about "cheap" (50$ and less) good work fixed blades? If there are any? I am 20 and have a full time job but no amount of money to throw at knives all day. But I do enjoy the hobby and want to know what's cheap vs crap
ОтветитьIf you have any knives for sale I'd be interested. How would I contact you about that?
ОтветитьExcellent demo!
ОтветитьTactical insertion!
ОтветитьThose things have alot of spark.
Ответить"O Ryan"
ОтветитьWould be useful in an emergency situation!
ОтветитьThey should make matches like that. That work in water.
ОтветитьI read a pamphlet put out by the Coastguard here in Fla when those firefighters went off shore fishing and got lost. They suggested saving the other end of those flares for use in day or night. While the smoke may not be visable at night the heat signature can still be picked up on F.L.I.R. from a good distance away
ОтветитьI just Carry fireworks everywhere i go. There loud and Bright.
ОтветитьYou should have done this at night. I love flares 😷
ОтветитьCool way to light a cigar.
Then there was what we did in high school with road flares, a 10 foot helium balloon and some firecrackers attached halfway down the flare. Cool sight at night :)
Mmmm drip all that plastic into the lake
ОтветитьStart a fire with one please. I am thinking with the way it burns you could just start a log on fire no kindling needed.
ОтветитьHi Jeff, i just wanted to let you know that Zippo will release over 120 new motives this september! I have watched all your zippo videos:)
ОтветитьFuck the animals and fish , people are such fairies these days
ОтветитьOh rye on...like the constellation
Ответитьit drips fire...hmmm guess I shouldn't use this in the woods then huh
Ответитьaint no bear flare
ОтветитьThanks for taking the time to make this video. Very helpful!
ОтветитьThey say these are a bear deterrent? One of the best you can use ,?
ОтветитьThanks! I’ve never used a flare so this was very helpful.
ОтветитьA lot of smoke for indoor marijuana burning. Probably slow burning for a rocket. Long length small nozzle hole. At least 3 segments. Expect explosions. Test. Retest.
ОтветитьIf it drop on the board and catch fire.
ОтветитьJust so you know. U get to respawn in the same location after lighting the flare.
ОтветитьThank you for the video! I’m writing a short story where someone uses one of these and I needed to see one in action. Does anyone know what these things smell like? That would be helpful for my story too! Thanks!
ОтветитьUmmmm this is illegal it says it’s illegal to use if not in an emergency. Jk. Not really. I mean technically it is but I don’t care and thanks for all the info. Awesome vid
ОтветитьHuevos! Aghhhh smelly Huevos!!
ОтветитьAbout as effective as a flashlight
Ответитьor-ee-on?
ОтветитьUsed to work for that company. Very neat to see them used
Ответитьimportant please read...for anyone concerned with the demo being done on this body of water here is an explanation...1st of all this is on private property, the chemicals in a flare are no different than in pyrotechnics and thousands upon thousands of fireworks shows are done over massive bodies of water every forth of july all around the world with no concerns about the habitat and fish...The only difference is a few tiny bits of plastic left behind which can be cleaned out easily, Ill also add that this pond (technically its a tiny lake by definition but I always saw it as a pond) has multiple natural springs that feed it and anything that goes into the pond is washed out within a day or 2 replaced by thousands of gallons of fresh water...I really do appreciate your concern for the fish and other animals but it will not be an issue, Im made the choice to do this demo in this water to perhaps save a humans life one day by knowing how these work, there are people who use these in an emergency and die because it melts their inflatable raft they are in...As much as I love animals people come 1st but in this case the animals are fine anyway ;)
