Proper parenting is hard to come by, this is how you do it right -
ОтветитьSo if i understand correctly. add a bone to my weapon(sword) . Then parent that bone to my hand bone. So it will follow the hand bone but if i wanna do some fancy twirling lol. I can with the bone assigned to the weapon? Did i get that right?
ОтветитьThis guy is Zeke from Atom cats. He's just here to build some new power armor in blender. change my mind.
ОтветитьIf I parent the weapon to the bone, would I still be able to use child of constraint, or would it break everything?
ОтветитьOk, but how do we make clothes for a base model?
ОтветитьCan I actually use the last info to add a holster to a model? I'm moddling Resident evil 2 remake but the holster is not attached to the body, there's space between it and the leg. I wonder what I'm doing wrong.
ОтветитьIf i do it like this and import my FBX into unreal engine 5. The attached objects count as new bones. How can I prevent this?
Ответитьdear gos thx i was doing a character that was like 90% armour and was losing my god damn mind over weights doing weri stuff this helps a lot
Ответитьwell, just finished my first armor wich is composed of 110 differents parts 8D i'm screwed
Ответитьyeah, your videos is not to me...
ОтветитьWait you can destroy clothes in engine??? Hmmm... fk I just had to discover it :/
ОтветитьAwesome Short Vids

Ответитьheyy man i hope you see this, i was just wonering why does some people not put any bones when they animate clothe, is it not required when you use cloth simulation?, or do you bones in to manually rig the clothes?
Ответитьbest dude here
Ответитьwith 2 handed weapons is it the same process? (make a copy of bone and parent it to weapon?)
Ответитьsometimes i get stressed and overwhelmed by something and them i come across your videos that solves it in literally 2 minutes
ОтветитьI am having difficulty trying to rig a skirt that is ripped. I am a beginner in rigging so i literally have no clue what to do despite watching many videos. Can you help?
ОтветитьI've been searching through your videos but can't find the entire process of making mech-like armour (not just the gloves and suit) for the entire base mesh, I'm trying to create mech-female characters with armour some what like this and really struggling to find any tuts anywhere. Please help out anyone that can point me in the right direction.
Ответитьrip wan winkle change his account name cant find it
ОтветитьEasier method to rig most clothing not including dresses and such is to just transfer skin weights and then clean up and artifacts you find while testing the weights
ОтветитьQuestion: I have a base human mesh under my armor. I have been parenting everything to the armature with automatic weights & it's deforming the armor plating in weird ways when I try to move the rig in pose mode. Does anyone know if I should parent the armor to a bone in pose mode AFTER you've parented only the underlying base mesh... or is parenting the base mesh not necessary in this situation? Any help would be appreciated...
ОтветитьYou deserve so many views and likes, extremely well put together videos that make learning to make certain animations easier!
ОтветитьLiterally didn't explain a single thing
ОтветитьWhat about if you want to switch weapons and armor out? Is that rigging done in unity or blender?
ОтветитьSimple, quick, effective solution to my problem. Have a simple, quick, effective comment to boost your algorithm. 🤘
Ответитьparenting object to Bone will not work outside blender
ОтветитьDoes anyone have the Wiggle Addon if so please link it
ОтветитьThank you so much for this and for making great tutorials=)
ОтветитьI’m new to using blender and I’m still working out the kinks and doing some extensive yet simple research. Now I do have a question regarding animating weapons themselves. What if a blade based weapon I’m trying to animate has retracting, removable, or moving parts?
Examples: Pyra and Mythra’s Aegis blades, Corrin’s Omega Yato, Cloud’s fusion sword, Shulk’s Monado, and Byleth’s Sword of the Creator.
ehy there. but is useful for export to game engine? I mean, you parent the armature to the bone, and the gun to the bone, this is very cool and esay... works in unity?or unreal? do I need to export the armature such as separate piece ,separate object but keep it in the same fbx ?? thx
ОтветитьIf I may ask how does one handle making a rig where a character wears a witches gown? I am stuck since trying to rig the body has worked but the moment i try to figure out how to rig a gown like clothing where it is open from the front but has strip of damaged cloth hanging from it. I tried to make an armature but so many problems along the way that it is breaking weight painting.
I have used Maya in the past and know weight painting tips like locking out vertex groups once desired weights are made but currently even after locking vertex groups it still forces parts of the body to follow clothing parts of an armature.
I am still rather new to Blender but I was able to give a body a walk animation from scratch but adding the clothing has been miserable to say the least so any advice would really help.
this video saved my life, you are awesome bro.
ОтветитьI watched 10 minutes video but not understand but your 2 min video made my day😀 thanks so much ❤️❤️
Ответитьomg this is so helpful thank you so much
Ответить2 minutes video takes me hours to put into pratice.
ОтветитьOMG if I was rich I would pay you for this video being uploaded!!! Fucking I wish I found this video weeks ago
ОтветитьGreat! but any chance you could make a more detailed tutorial on how to add cloth physics from- say a Skyrim armour mod and import it correctly. 100% cannot find any tutorials about this process for blender. Thanks.
ОтветитьAny chance you have a more detailed tutorial on the capes? 😅
ОтветитьHaven been searching for few hrs and this guy just explain everything in minutes, amazing!
ОтветитьYour place in heaven is reserved sucessfully!!!!
Ответитьany help on rigging pauldrons?
ОтветитьCan you please do one for clothes only, I did not understand how to do it.
Ответитьhow would you attach to a two handed weapon?
ОтветитьIs there a way to parent armor to the bone by weight? Because I want to find a way to get a skin mesh renderer when I import the blend file over to unity. When I tried parenting by bone it will only show as a mesh renderer. I tried using automatic mesh parenting but the armor will bend weirdly during animation. Any idea how to fix this? When I check the weight paint for the armor, it is entirely dark blue.
Or is there a way to use automatic mesh parenting while having the armor piece stay purely solid without bending?
Is it weird that I am imagining scout from tf2 is the one that is recording these tutorials?
Ответитьhey man, do you think it's overkill if i do the clothing in marvelous designer before importing into unity?
ОтветитьHey guys!
I need to attach two handed gun, so the second hand have to follow for a barrel of my gun. I can't understand how to do this. Like, my character not always holding the gun with two hands, so i must be able to switch between "two handed Mode" and "one hand".
