How To Disable Chat Heads (Messenger Bubble)

My wife has a newer Samsung and on hers you had to go to settings; then to apps; then to messenger; tap on Messenger; that opens it up to see the messenger settings and draw over apps was in there. But your video did help. I knew that I had seen draw over apps, and that’s where it was. Thanks.

Helllp me pleasee i want it on but it s not showing i had it on for so long and i like it but it stoped working in settings it says its on but its not showing bubble please help

My friend i have a problem....yesterday A notification showed when I opened messenger and I erased it...from that time I can't see the bubble in my phone but I have the button on....what can I do to fix that because for me is important to have this bubble...please help if you see this comment

How can i remove chat heads in vivo v? Even after disabling notifications, chat heads still appear though i do not get any notification in the top bar.

It's so fucking annoying I swear fucking pisses me off so much just gets in the way all the fucking time

Thank you! Used your turorial to turn my bubbles back on! Not sure how they disappeared in the first place but after many months they're back!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is what will turn off a number of goofy bubbles that have started dropping down from the top of my screen. They have different icons and a little X connected apparently to close them. But when I touch one, nothing happens . . . I do see that a number of my apps have this 'can appear on top' on and I've no idea why. Thanks.

The bubble isnt there but i still get that obnoxious banner on top. Is there anyway to turn that off without turning off notifications entirely on nougat?

Fro this can we off or hide our chat in publically?

Samsung Note 2 instructions: Launch Messenger. Click person icon-bubble at top right. Scroll down to Chat Heads, turn OFF.

This did not work for me, but I figured out how to get rid of chat heads on my Samsung galaxy j3 2016 phone. Press the blue Facebook messager icon. Then top right of the screen there is your picture, press it. then it opens a load of settings, scroll down and turn off chat header. Job done.

still did not work. s7 edge. uninstalled and re installed already still no chat head option. had it before and switched to ios then back to my s7 edge and it just disappeared.

doesnt work. there is no "applications" menu on sam gal 7 edge.
