Thank you very much, It's help a lot :)
ОтветитьThanks for the video. I’m planning on removing my stock cooler and replacing it with an aio. Should I be cleaning the cpu from the stock paste or should I leave it as is and just install the aio?
ОтветитьThis backplate is from motherboard or i can remove it when i want to put on a Fortis 3?
Ответитьawesome work! your advice was reassuring and helpful :)
and kudos on the professional production quality
i had a question
i have a 2200g with stock thermal paste from 2018
i wanted to reapply thermal paste and change the cooler
is the CoolerMaster H410R and MasterGel Pro a good choice (aiming for value for money, with both adding up to <100USD)
Or should i splurge on a Hyper 212 and Arctic MX-4?
Does the H410R come with (preapplied) thermal paste?
Are there any specific things i should be aware of when uninstalling my wraith stealth cooler? its connected to an Asus Tuf B450 mobo
Will i need to remove my mobo from my case?
Do i need to remove my CPU from its socket?
Will it have a backplate?
Should I use the "pea method" of applying thermal paste, or should i apply a pea amount and spread it out, then installing the cooler?
This is the first time i am trying this
Thank you for your help in advance.
Thanks so much for this!
ОтветитьCongrats On The 69 Subs
ОтветитьYour a lifesaver thank you and have a lovely day
ОтветитьI’m still having a really hard time trying to unscrew it any tips?
ОтветитьIf I remove this while it's in the case will the back plate move? don't want to do it if I have to remove the whole motherboard as will be to much hassle
Ответитьis it recommended to take the motherboard out of the case before uninstalling the cpu fan?
Ответитьalso mine wont budge at all! any help? thanks.
ОтветитьIt's a good way to remove Heatsink. Thanks
Ответитьthanks im thinking of changing from the stock cooler to a hopefully better air cooler soon
ОтветитьIs it easier to remove the cooler, and clean the thermal paste, after playing for a while (reaching those high temps) or does it make no difference?
Ответитьthanks for this video. my first time i pulled my cpu out luckily it wasnt damaged. I just bought an aio so you saved my life
ОтветитьFor me screws don't wanna go out... 😭
ОтветитьHello @PC Jack, would you have any tips when comes to aligning the backplate and heatsink and screwing them together? Aligning them seems ok but the screwing part isn't working for me, one side gets disaligned/dislodged from the backplate once I start screwing the other side.
Ответитьmany thanks for the useful video = so if the fan were to break down in the future, is it possible to just buy the fan or another fan and screw it to the heatsink ?
ОтветитьCan I use it with Athlone 3000g??
ОтветитьThank you !! You're wonderful !
Ответитьhello, my screws just won't go down. can you help me?
ОтветитьGreat. I thought Intel CPU cooler's plastic pins sucked but this looks even worse.
ОтветитьThanks 👍
Ответитьjack many many many thanxs was unknow this situation for me
Ответитьcarrey, jim carrey
ОтветитьJust had this happen to me and while I didn't watch your video before trying to remove my wraith prism cooler I did watch one with basically the same advice and I can tell you it was useless. It may be better for the model you actually showed but the wraith prism (which you show as an example of a failure) required much more pressure than I was comfortable with to clip into place when installing and didn't want to unclip when uninstalling. Just a terrible design. That pressure meant that the CPU and cooler are now effectively fused together with effectively no thermal paste been them and I'm not even sure a blowtorch would separate the two pieces.
Trying that twisting movement would likely result in you shearing the pins if you persisted.
I ended up with my CPU poping out of the still locked socket while simultaneously trying to: hold the heatsink in place to prevent exactly that from happening, pull up on the side that has the lever system which was easy enough to unhook and press down specifically on the top of the bar on the side that still needed unhooking and pressing down on the heatsink a but on that side because all that was nowhere near close to getting it to unclip.
It literally endlessly spins and never screws in
ОтветитьWhat if I can't run anything cuz I just built a pc and found out the mobo is dead...
ОтветитьIf I remove the cooler in the case, am I gonna have to hold the backplate in place if it's laying down?
The backplate and the side of the case would be facing the table.
its not good recommendation that warm your cpu before removal. its harmful.
ОтветитьThe morons installed my cooler with the AMD logo covering the RAM slot :/
Ответитьgoing to remove my 1600 in 2 days to put in a 5600x. hope mines isnt caked on like crazy. ima try to run a stress test or play games a bit before doing this. also, i dont plan on taking the mobo out the tower. will this be a problem?
ОтветитьI did this today. Thankfully my cpu is ok. Had to use a hair dryer to melt the thermal paste.
