As a new wife, I have tried getting up before dawn and husband was agitated 😂 I gave up. Peace was restored.. I actually avoid him now most mornings 😂

This isn’t referring to a Christian woman, but of prostitution, Jezebel was a murderer and a prostitute and if a woman chooses to give a vow to God she chooses the better role , He Martha had chosen the better option to learn from the master 1corinthians 7:8-9 Now to the UN married and widow I say it is good to stay unmarried as I do

May I live long enough to be a Blessing to my future husband who will not abuse me, and love me.

I was like this but he still cheated and i had to leave, it was the hardest thing i ever did, divorce is just awful awful awful no wonder God hates it, i also hate it and would not wish it on anyone

He should preach on how men are to treat women .

If this isn’t the most male centric interpretation of the proverbs 31 WOMAN. Interesting that the 6 pillars of the Proverbs 31 woman that this pastor mentions does not highlight the fact that she was a BUSINESS WOMAN & ENTREPRENEUR. Listened to half of it can’t listen anymore

I wonder why we read this proverbs chapter and never realize it’s a description of the remnant church on earth? Women try to meet these ideals and fail to their personal and private shame..God used the writings of Solomon..wisest man to ever live He said…to show us the fruits of the remnant church and why God loved and loves this Church above all. Further still…the 10 virgins represented the church on earth…and the seven women seeking 1 man to give them His name and they will do everything else, also represent churches…the daughters of the harlot also represented churches..not the remnant church. Finally the harlot of Babylon clothed in fine robes with the cup in her hand and the woman clothed in light with the stars over her head and the moon beneath her feet also speaks of the worldly church versus the remnant church. ❤ God tells us that a Woman’s true beauty is in her character. We can still learn character via Proberbs 31.

I am struggling with this. Having no children, and planning to pursue my career as I feel I don't have a purpose at home😢 any advice?

The proverbs 31 lady firstly , has maid servants . Her husband is a respected figure. She does not have ADHD , Autistic and handicapped children to attend to , who clings to her 24/7 and she is not into prayer, warfare 24/7. She's busy about her family matters and no lady shld be aspiring to be like her without the SAME conditions that she has. It is inaccurate to cite her as a role model but not ensure that all ladies has what she has. Ladies, be led by the Spirit of God alone as we all have a unique divine purpose that God has for us. The letter kills but the Spirit gives life.

I did my best as a wife. Cooked all 3 meals, clean house do dishes , laundry, loookafter my son while i help his (cannot call it our business) business full time without proper rest proper sleep, while manage all household work by my own no support at all not even when im sick hell get angry if im sick, i have never gone to a saloon to do my hair or nails, no gym membership, not even spent money unnecessary on food or clothes, even to buy very important things ill ask him weather he has enough money or not. I don't remember he bought me a gift for the last 3 years on birthdays or Christmas or anniversary. His mother n sisters was mistreating me badly he never took my side or tried to stop them ive been very patient with all of them as i need this family. Since childhood my parents taught me how to dress appropriately so i never dress badly or do too much makeup. But he always complained and compared with all other women and girls in his family. Didn't allow me to work as he needed my support fully for his business and if i ask some money may be £100_£150 a month to send to my parents he forced me to not look after my parents as girls shouldn't do so. He started an another affair with a young girl then started to fight with me daily, put me down, name calling too much disrespect and abuse. I started to pray god to help me keep my family safe and help me to give my best to keep him happy in our marriage and family life. Nothing worked out everything got worsen i was keep praying and finally god showed me the way out that it to leave that relationship as i was continually getting suicidal thoughts. finally, I'm living a peaceful life. I have nevet got respect or love that i deserve by being that perfect woman in that marriage. Now i only focus on my self and my son. I didn't get anything i deserve in that relationship by being that perfect woman

My Husband left me after 25 yrs of marriage, I worked my entire life married, I did everything in my power to empower my family, we had 4 kids suffered homelessness together and then he got an near death accident in construction he was awarded millions and he left us for a younger woman and started another Family (she broke the news to me via text) with a pic of their daughter… that happened in 2013… I’ve become a Mother and Father alone but with Jesus by our side ❤

I thought I was a good mom and tried to be a good wife. I guess I wasn't because no one is called me blessed. My family never has anything good to say to me, except for one son. He's a joy to me.

Where are these excellent husbands??? I did alot for a man and he never once stayed faithful. He didnt protect, lead, or tell the truth. Lied and slandwred but was a so called godly man. He got praised . I heard submit no matter what. Not God's idea of love your wife, right?

John, thank you so much for this. No Pastor will do this, today. It is highly encouraged to exhort men to the point of beratement. But to speak out about women? Oh no! No way!

If, after salvation, women got this one message and really chased this, the world would be 90% closer to paradise. It really would.

The bible also says for men to love your wives , as hi own body. Also be not bitter agaist them yes prov.31: is a verygood pattern for woman, but she worked her job at home but had a business selling her product to the merchants in the market place. I personally was the stay at home mom, homeschooled my 2 children , took care of the house worked at my church's daycare babyset other peopl's kids at diffwrent times kids married l have6 gr chidren. I dont know how l did all this but gid helped me esp. With the homeschooling. God is gracious. Husband had a challenge at work awoman was involved. Ever sense ww2 woman had to be in the workforce. I dont believe women should be working where men work. The devil planned that. Now were stuck with it. By gods grace we are still married. Today. It has strenghthened our marriage. 🎉❤😅😊

I have a hard time with the books of Solomon. He had 700 wives and 300 concubines. What could he possibly know about a virtuous wife? He warns against the adulterous women, but if he wanted a woman , he just married her. His pagan wives led him into idolatry. Every nation had different dress codes and requirements for the conduct of men,women, and children. The perfect woman of Proverbs 31 worked continuously. But she considered a field and bought it with her earnings, so she had a business of her own. It does not say she consulted with her husband either. Deborah was chosen by God to be a judge in Israel even though she had a husband. She had to be very busy and gone a lot from home. Women have been missionaries for centuries. When a wife of a pastor in restricted nations loses her husband to martyrdom, she often has to take the lead in the church. Being a virtuous woman and wife has more to do with walking in the Holy Spirit, being obedient to the Lord, and being submitted to the Lord. We will love our husbands and our children but we will not put them above the Lord. We are still responsible for our Spiritual growth, decisions, and faith. McArthur is a multi millionaire. His wife never needed to work outside the home, but many wives have no choice if the bills are to be paid. These women,wives and mothers are just as virtuous as the stay home moms. We are called by Christ at different times in our lives, and lots of choices were already made. We are told by Paul to not seek to change our situations, but our motives,attitudes, and Master. Christ is our Lord and Master. We honor our husbands if we have one, because of Christ.

One question though, regarding a statement he made about no office woman having the capability of living up to Proverbs 31.

Oh my goodness. Shame on this pastor, I find it strange that he speaks of women's responsibilities before a mans when men are supposed to lead according to God's word. He is going down a dangerous road speaking of hard-working women like that. We work hard for our money too!! This isn't the 1950s anymore. Be careful, ladies who you chose to marry; so many men are disobedient to God and lazy. They trick you into thinking they will be a leader and a wonderful husband just for you to find out they are a liar. This puts mothers in extremely tough positions. I am priceless to my husband he couldn't do it without me, and he tells me this all the time. Our government has robbed women of staying home. It takes two in a marriage. Most men won't take the head of the home. They would rather the woman run the show its easier for them. God commands a man to be the leader and to be under his authority and to keep her in his word, but so many men won't. If you are smart, you will stay single. Then you can have a career and not be put down for it. God even says it's better to stay single. I work much harder than my husband, and he tells me that. We would live in a tent if i didn't work. I work a full-time job, and I deal with the house, the cooking the children, the grandchildren the bills the vehicles the yard work. I can't begin to list it all. I've been married 38 years, and he has never, even once, made me a meal. Even when I had covid and was very sick! My father is the same. He sits in a chair and doesn't do a thing. He's been retired over 20 years. He unfortunately refuses to do what God has asked him to do. My husband lets me do it all, and my poor, hard-working mother is 81 and exhausted, but she is a servant for the Lord. My father just benefits because of it. She is not a door mat. Remember, men only wear shorts on the beach strutting around it's not just women. God says many things in his word, but I fear this pastor has a bad attitude towards women his words are like a knife without any knowledge of each individual homes situation. I would like to know of any man who's impeccable nowadays, even with a perfect wife. Which doesn't exist. There is no one that is perfect. Thank the Lord for his grace and forgiveness. This pastor makes you feel as if it's too high of a mountain to climb. I have listened to him for years. You always go away feeling like you can't do enough! He isn't very loving as a minister to the people. He seems to only preach rules and laws. You speak of women as if they are trash beneath the feet of men if they aren't perfect. Thank you, God, that I know who I am in you without the opinion of a pastor who knows any idea of what my situation is!!

You certainly dont spare any expense in those fancy suits you wear. Jack Hibbs doesn't dress fancy like that, but he speaks from Gods word in a way that encourages people to want to serve the Lord and do better. You preach defeat and despair. There are some children that don't get to eat at all. I eat microwave food myself. To say a mom is wrong for having a job helping financially and not cooking a homemade meal is really ridiculous. I muted you because your words are being used in a negative and disrespectful manner to hard-working women. I know many many women that work two and three jobs and if she wants to buy nice clothes to feel pretty that is not being a disrespectful woman. You speak of tough women. We have to be we live in a despicable hard core world or have you not noticed. I love to look nice for my husband, so he is proud of me. 😮
