Does it work on linux? And on Windows? Uuups, so - not so powerful. Thus not multi-platform supported it‘s a no go for people who are no sheep.

I have been using Spark for my email uses, and I really like it, but there was just something missing, I cant put my figure on it, I even still have the Gmail app, which is not as good. Now that I have seen this video, I will give Mail a go again; the scan feature was also cool. Great video

Using Mac's for almost 15 years now, STILL can't collapse sorted messages by sender and bulk delete = FRUSTRATING. I have to use Outlook at work, its hard to find a way around these leaned habits.

I have the Italian version of Mail, since I live in Italy, but the linguist differences are no problem, or are they? I looked for an item in the sidebar that would correspond to "Flagged". No such name appeared. Using the Italian word "contrassegnato" in the index (magnifying glass) all the messages I had flagged showed up although that word did not appear in the side bar. Trying the scan using my iPhone 15 PM no picture icon showed up in the upper right hand corner of the email where I could find my text, photographed for scanning. I did get lots of useful items from this video, however.

Its perfectly clear that you are an expert but when your curser is faster than a fly and talking so fast, you can always us a part 1 and part 2 of the same subject and be able to take it all in.

Hi Peter, I was checking the new Ventura Mac Mail and when I was swiping left on an email, and instead of the red delete it was yellow with the text "Edit". Being curious I clicked on it and the email disappeared. Would you be able to tell me what this yellow edit button is for? Thanks,

Great video. I admit I’ve never really given apple email a shot but after this video I’m going to try it. Only I WILL be using folders as I use a version of the GTD system so the only things that stay in my inbox are those that haven’t been handled. I do think smart folders will be of use to me though.

Does smart mailbox 📪 work for all emails in all email box like if you have different accounts like iCloud Mail and Gmail will it work the same and still use smart mailbox to file.

I’ve been a Mail user for years and I didn’t know about many of these tips and tricks. Thanks so much. One of the annoyances is that when using Mail on the iPad it’s a three step process to delete unwanted or read emails. Apple needs to find a better way.

Can you set attachments as attached file like in gmail rather than have full screen mode? Same on iphone?
Also why attachments are scatered around between mail text rather than be moved up above email like in gmail? Right now it look super messy

Why Apple doesn't allow to create new flags? TBH, I've been waiting for this feature for a very long time, something similar to the Outlook's Categories :(

I ditched mail app free years ago because it was making huge files on my mac when using mailboxes. Mailboxes files got really big in past, they was 2 times bigger than capacity of Gmail inbox for expamle.
is it still issue or they fix this now?

I'm still used to creating filters for incoming emails. And I'm having a hard time using multiple accounts on the Mail app. Can you help me make better use of Rules? I have set up a rule by account. But if you choose "If all of the following conditions are met", there will be a lot of rules set up and they make it difficult for me.

Hey. I love Spark, but want the cross-platform and inter-app share functionality of using Apple on board apps; but I really HATE all .pdfs not being icons. If I’m looking at a mail and scroll, any sensitive docs are on show as I go down (invoices, bills, etc). I never worked out how to do this, so I’m using Spark but their privacy policy is a bit sketchy.
Any clues how to set this as default?

I really miss the pretty “Stationery” feature that Mac mail used to have.
I also have a question- is it possible to add check boxes in an email. I’d like to add them for quick feed back from my contacts. They could just check their answer and hit reply. I have not come across a way to do this.

how do I Re-set original mail" settings where I can use keyboard arrows to open emails in secondary windows, every time I open a email it just adds another tab to the secondary window, how do I make it stop

I really enjoy Apple Mail. I also think in the long run it is better to have your mail on Apple servers Vs. Google because Apple is not for sale and Google studies your data. Privacy FIRST ⚡️❤️👊

Im looking for a way to use mail merge with pages, contacts / numbers and directly email through the mail app.

For some reason the mails I flag in the mail app on macOS don’t show up in the mail app on iOS. Would you happen to know why that happens? It’s for a hotmail/ outlook account and I used the different colour flags. Maybe that’s a reason?

G'Day Mate. I use Apple mail and I have an email I can't delete. Every time I try, and delete it, and a box comes up on the screen, and it says ( the specified object was not found in the store the process failed to get the correct properties ) would you know what this means and how I can delete the email ?.

Brand new to Apple and really appreciated these tips! None of these options were clear to me by just using the app. Is there any way to delay the send, so I can cancel if I made a mistake?

This video was super helpful in that it showed me a bunch of capabilities that Apple Mail has now that I did not know about. Lots of great stuff there! Sadly it also reminded me why I left Apple Mail for 3rd party clients like Spark and Airmail years ago -- the frustrating bugginess of Apple Mail. It appears that here in 2023 Apple's quality control for this software remains an issue.

Really useful although I have some personal stuff on Mail I use outlook for business but sometimes think it would be better to use apple mail

I don't understand why some emails are archived by themselves. Do they also stay in my inbox? And if I have a VIP list, do those emails also show up in All Inboxes?
