Recently read Didion’s my year of magical thinking, loved it. The topic of grief and what that leaves you with and what you should make of it struck a chord. Everything she described was so achingly relatable, especially when it comes to a partner you want to spend your life with. Currently reading Blue nights by her as well, loving that one so far too! I know I'm late to this vlog but I always try not to watch your videos immediately and rather hold them back for moments that I need this specific mood/vibe so I came to watch this video today, after I've had a very...let's say depressing start of morning -- it's a grey and rainy day at the end of summer plus missing my family in Ontario, Canada - so I knew a video of yours would help me find comfort and kind of make me feel a bit closer to home somehow. Plus seeing those summer vibes is just so beautiful and make me want to make the best of the remaining summer days. It's just all a bit harder if you dont have any friends close to you (I recently moved to a new city in Germany). Thanks for your videos and thoughts xxx
