BOOMER!
ОтветитьI like Barnes to start, Tatum to play behind him. That's just me.
ОтветитьTatum is our best running back.
ОтветитьLogan Howland should start
ОтветитьThis is one of the 1st things I said on friday.
I believe it was something like, "your 2nd or 3rd string running back should be your 1st."
Meaning, make Sawchuck work for it. Because both Barnes and (didn't remember his name at the time) Tatum look like they want to be out there.
Then again, protection plays a role.
But, that matters a bit less if your OL alternating who is playing "Ole!" this snap. 😂
Marcus Strong!
ОтветитьTatum is ready, but it's still best to slow it down for a few more games. Run him a little more each game and work him into the passing game. Baseball players are good at tracking objects through space. Short apprenticeship and then get in there. He's the best we've got and looks like he could be great.
ОтветитьFirst RB has the toughest task, the defense is fresh and geared up to stop the run. I would like to see Sawchuck get some carries late in the third, and the 4th quarter. We have enough RB's to mix it up, let Tatum and Franklin start a game and Barnes and Sawchuck finish games and see how things turn out. It's much easier to run in the second half when you have a big lead and the game has already been decided.
ОтветитьBarnes should be RB1.
ОтветитьYou realize that you talking about guys that were coming out vs Temple’s second team. Have no idea how you compare the lineman, especially. Tatum’s bit not sure he’s ready yet.
ОтветитьThey need to give him the ball so they can establish a running game
And I have no confidence whatsoever in Seth littrell
He definitely needs to get the 🏈 more. Kid has the juice
Ответитьmust be nice to get 3 cupcakes to open your inaugural season in the sec.
same old sooners....been playing 4 game seasons for decades. so overrated.
What’s the deal with Isaiah Autry? Is he hurt?
ОтветитьI really appreciate the point of view you took. I wouldn't look too much into grades, with this small sample size, but it is a good baseline to start with. You should do one of these over the young players every week. I really enjoyed it, thanks!
ОтветитьCan’t believe that some folks think that watching a fresh off the bench RB go against a physically worn out Temple D is all of a sudden our best RB. Granted Tatum’s good but let’s see him against Tennessee and Texas before we start crowning him as our #1 RB.
ОтветитьCan not discount the fact that Tatum was running against a very tired Defense in the last Quarter. Needs a few more runs to prove himself.
ОтветитьI didn’t really watch the game much as I was on an 8-hour drive but how good did Michael Tarquin do?
ОтветитьI think what is lost with this is that Hawkins was also playing at the time and was heavy on the run, so the defense keys more on that allowing the RB a bit more freedom while also being on a tired defense.
ОтветитьI have been impressed with Franklin since the Spring game, he hits the line so much differently than the rest, something about his running style that is very productive.
ОтветитьWe'll see! Barnes and Sawchuck are also very capable!
ОтветитьI believe OU is fine at that Position.. Tatum will really have to show out, to be RB#1 ... I thought Barnes looked good.. Boomer Sooner !!
ОтветитьI know nothing about this. There’s more details that we as fans can fathom. If the game was as easy to manage as us fans think, these Universities would just pay the fans to watch the games and make the decisions.
While it is fun to speculate, it would be our worst nightmare to have the decisions laid at our feet.
Fans would die off faster than a covey of quail from the stress.
What I think I got to see and what I think I liked was team development.
To myself our underclass men look confident and competent. Ready to play when called on.
Can’t wait for the rest of the season to unfold.
When Arnold gets hurt in the OU Texas game Hawkins will win the game and beat the SEC conference.....Dude can and WILL do it, my prediction....lol.
ОтветитьRunning Backs should eat vs Houston. Houston should have problems maintaining possession. They gave up an avg of 168 yards in the ground last year. Could be 200 yards rushing for the OU offense.
ОтветитьTatum, we don't know how wellnhe can reliablyboass block, hold on to the ball, run the entire playbook yet
Ответитьthey were well aware of him, jus cause they didn't risk hurting there freshman vs a team like temple. they don't want 9ther teams picking up on how good this kid is too. I hope his potential fulfills
ОтветитьBarnes and sawchuck suck
ОтветитьTatum did something in the game I haven't seen in at least two years: He ran directly through a hole, in full stride. Why is this so hard for our backs?
ОтветитьShould Tatum be the starting running back?
