Well done, I'm having a problem though. I'm trying to turn an audio file into a loop so that I can slow it down and when I go through the process you describe here, it doesn't give me the option to choose "loop" instead of "one shot". What am I doing wrong?

Hi...thanks so much for your response! Yes, I export the stems as mono, but when transferred to GarageBand they become stereo(??) I remember I saw someone posting a good method to change those files in garage band to mono (something to do with track lock) but I don’t remember who and can’t find the posting.... thanks again for any help!

I ran into a problem...Importing a stem from studio one 4 into garage band ... the files always become stereo! Is there a way to change it to mono in GarageBand?? Thanks

I need help slowing down audios, due to new update on my mac book any audio i upload is extremely speed up and adjusting the tempo does not help

By the way, is it possible to add extra instruments to Garageband as well as the loops? I want to find a nice upright piano sound, as the default Grand Piano is really clunky sounding, especially at the top end. Can you import a new instrument file or something?
