How To Enlarge / Increase a Virtual Machine’s Disk Size in VirtualBox - Windows

Guys if your disk type is dynamic then don't try to expand it as command will not work because when you create VM you should select disk type to fixed type not dynamic. Only fixed type disk size can be increased else you have to reinstall the machine. @discover you please mentioned it in your description.
