Which one of these tips did you find most helpful? Comment below!! 👇
ОтветитьI’d love a video of a first aid kit, or med kit!
ОтветитьMost of this is common sense.
ОтветитьI'm going camping in a couple months, really been lovin your channel.😁
ОтветитьDig your fire hole dig the air hole next to it join them at the bottom light your fire in the big holes drop a metal grille over your fire hole and cook over the grille 😁
ОтветитьWait aren't you supposed to get checkmark when you reach 100k? anyway thanks for the tips
ОтветитьGood tips
ОтветитьThank you SO much for this valuable info! 2 questions…I see rocks are necessary around the fire, and a grill grate. Do you always carry your own in case the campsite does not have? Also, do you ever carry your own firewood? I see firewood for sale around my area often, and even some free from time to time. I started saving dryer lint to use as a starter..is this good? Such a good point about organizing the ingredients, down to the chopping! I don’t think this would be very easy outdoors! 🤗💯💓🏕
ОтветитьFiregloves - that was the tip I needed to hear!! thank you Amanda. You videos are thoughtful, thourough and entertaining. I had a good time with your dramatization of the frantic firepit chef:)
ОтветитьAnother good piece of advice, have some snacks out for the other people. No need to rush things because someone is hangry! (We like veggies, salsa and hummus.)
ОтветитьGreat tips. I'm a cast iron fan but I'd like to get a stainless pot in my kit. I see you like the primus set on your blog. I'm not familiar w the brand but I'll check it out. Thanks!
ОтветитьThe med kit! And fire resistant gloves. Love your channel!
ОтветитьCongratulations on 100K!!
LOVE cast iron on the fire- there's just something special about it!
Thank you for mentioning first aid- it's such as easy thing to overlook, but burns and cuts are super common injuries while camping and backpacking, and there's peace in knowing what to do if something happens.
Like,,,❤❤❤ verry beautiful
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThanks!! Awesome med kit!
ОтветитьRemember to thoroughly put out your fire when done
ОтветитьI'd love to see a video on fire building
ОтветитьCongratulations on 100K subscribers! I've been a fan since around 70k subscribers or maybe less. I enjoy your content and find your videos to be just as relaxing as being out in nature. 👍 Best of luck as you continue on your journey!
ОтветитьI really love all of your tips and tricks!! I wish I saw this before I attempted a similar breakfast over the fire. The water took FOREVER to boil, now I know why!! 😅 Keep these videos coming!! 😊
ОтветитьGreat vids, here's one you haven't tried, camp meals for vegans, and yes it is possible.
ОтветитьGood tip about how the gloves will get hot, they do, and you’ll rush to grab it off!
ОтветитьAmanda I look forward to all your videos, this one I was away for the weekend so , better late then never. THANK you Frank from montana.. PS. You are very easy to watch you know all !
ОтветитьIf you are an early planner like me (menu planned weeks in advance of a long trip), you may not be able to know the fire restrictions before you head out. Conditions may change, some times quickly. But you should DEFINATELY be checking this before you get to your location.
ОтветитьHi Amanda
I like ur videos so much. Just could you do a Playlist on solo camping backpacking. I don't have a car. Thanks 4 ur channel
Great advice thanks
ОтветитьEven with 100k subs this channel is under-appreciated. She loves nature and gives very practical information.
Ответить... Always love your video's and tips ... We all learn best by making a mistake ,, hopefully only once .. To prevent soot buildup on campfire pots, coat the pot with dish soap first ,, almost all the soot will wipe off ,, can also wrap bottom /sides with aluminum foil .. Fire flames are for warming cold bodies and marshmallows ,, coals are for cooking over .......Thanks and Stay Safe ..
ОтветитьThe best tip is to learn from the mistakes of others… thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьNot campfire related, but where is your shirt from?! Also, a video idea, "what's in my med kit". I'd love to see it to get some ideas!
ОтветитьExcellent example of Preparation, Awareness, and Safety. As with many of your videos it demonstrates organization and a thoughtful approach that doesn't get in the way of the fun and enjoyment of camping, hiking, etc. Great for those new to camp cooking, and really good reminder for those who have been there and done that. Keep the good stuff coming.
ОтветитьGreat Video Amanda, if I may add one more campfire caution.. watch what you wear around a live fire, manmade materials can become red hot shrink wrap in a millisecond.
ОтветитьI always learn something new from you.
ОтветитьAnd pull your long beautiful hair back when at the fire. Thanks for the good info!
ОтветитьCongrats on 100k❤🎉
ОтветитьGood video. Hey I think I have the same meat thermometer. LOL I really enjoy your videos.
