Prof, what about cards from SL precons? Even setting aside foil-only printings, there are some financial hammers in the Angels and Heads/Tails printings.

Only Secret Lairs I have gotten so far are Dalek Lands and the Regeneration. I only play with Dr Who cards anyway.

Yeah bottom line is, none of them became silly money. And if you're real gutted you missed a secret lair you can probably fix that

The best thing I ever did was buy two boxes of War of the Spark mythic edition, open the packs, and sell the exlusive foils for nearly $1000 profit. Don't feel bad at all. Anyone who pays that much to pimp their stupid decks is a fool. I'm glad this garbage is expensive.

It's crazy the pride across the multiverse secret lair shot up in price so much! I liked up 5 copies of Heartbeat and Collective for around $0.75-1.50 just over a year ago!

Just a note for future videos like this - I’d love to also see prices of the base card as a comparison. Honestly, it’d be pretty interesting to see a list of secret lair cards with the largest percentage change from their base price (with maybe some restrictions for cards worth less than a dollar originally)

Mtg 30th... what a flop that could have been great for highlander and edh... and that was around the time wotc told us that many products were not for you... the beyond universe cards are super lame, stickers are worse, and players dont agree on much... that being said the game hasnt been runied for me and I still love my old cards. I simply dont buy what I dont want and take solice in there being enough game pieces to enjoy the game.
