I could never do this, I thought I could. And I have the ability and skill to, but when I was faced with a guy that assaulted me and told me he was going to kill me, the thought of pulling my gun or knife out was on my mind if he were to do something, but the problem is if he pulled first, he probably would’ve gotten me. I decided to plead and accept if he would do something because I couldn’t stomach the idea of hurting him in addition to me living in California, so the laws are finicky and I would’ve been arrested and convicted even if I did so in self defense. He spit on me and left and I called the cops, they found him and he punched a cop, was already on probation and resisted, so dude is gonna go to prison.
