This entire sequence is head scratching - in addition to the motives behind Bazil's actions, we already saw the results of flying through a field of small rocks in Andor yet here both ships are essentially fine. Seems like an expensive contrivance to get them back on the planet again....

One of my biggest criticisms of this series is that a lot of the key story elements felt, well, contrived. This is a prime example. Bazil's motivations were not super well defined at all, so we're left to speculate why. But the actual reason why he did it was "Because the writers needed Mae to survive/not get captured."

Oh, that’s easy. Looks to be a betrayal on Bazil’s part? Sol never batted an eye against him the entire time after that happened. Nor did he stop Bazil from coming in.

He can either be the missing piece of the puzzle that could solve the disappearance of Osha and Stranger and the erasure of Mae’s memories or he could legit be a native of another planet that is under the sith’s control and is a bounty hunter in disguise or both.

He could be doing this for families at his home planet while the Sith are small in numbers gathering resources.

He isn’t strong enough to face foes bigger than him nor would even attend to do any real harm. And because Sol was true to not attacking the unarmed, it meant that Sol didn’t think of him as a purely a threat to him like Qimir was.


A lot of stuff in season 2 to fill in the blanks to what happened during the 1st season and how each of the appeared the way that they did, while also leading back into events in season 1 and into near future events.

That is only one of maaaany unreasonable decisions made in this show

I was confused too and just assumed later he thought Sol was going too far and endangering both of them by ramming the ship through the ring debris.

I think Bazil did it cuz he knows Sol is going rogue and wants to stop him before he does something drastic. Bazil is a good boy.

Qimir is a sith lord similar to how dooku was. Plagueis would be the master and qimir the apprentice. However, qimir will probably meet his end in the next season, setup the arrival of palpatine.

I don't know what the hell they're going to do to oshas character. I gave up on her after she killed sol. Sol did everything for her. She was the one who left the order. It isn't like he gave up on her. Killing off sol like that was pretty dumb and anticlimactic tbh.

I never liked the relationship between mae and osha. There wasn't enough development for me to care about them. I was more into sol and osha if anything. Sol's actor did an amazing job for playing a father mentor character. It really did remind me of qui gon.
