The Sims 4 Burglars: With vs. Without an Alarm (2025 Base Game Update)

What things do the burglars go after? Is it always cookers and stoves?

I got my first burglar 15 minutes into my gameplay today and I got Aragorn (yes, that Aragorn…) to fight him off and he kicked the burglar’s butt 😂 It was so satisfying!

I wonder can sim (especially supernatural) beat burglar? Or even big strong werewolf will be standing and be scared?😅

I still don't get Robin Banks to spawn. How can I get her? I'd like to see if she can have children with a new inheritable trait.

Things I wish they had:

The burglar use a break in animation, either using the crowbar or a lock pick.

The burglar being handcuffed by the police. It doesn’t make sense for the burglar to just walk away with the officer, I liked the feature in sims 3 where the burglar would be handcuffed outside, and the police would check the house if anything was stolen. During that time you could choose to let the burglar free.

So....why exactly is EA building hype about them finishing their game 10 years after the fact? LOL

After the reading the dev diary I set out with a plan; I invited Miss Crumplebottom to be my house guest for a few nights. You might be wondering… why? Well, aside from the obvious “who wouldn’t” if a burglar spawns when she is on the lot, the dear woman will mercilessly beat the burglar with her handbag, forcing them to return the stolen goods and flee. It’s hysterical.

There are burglars and police in sims 4?!?! Is this a mod, because not once have i experienced this in Sims 4. Please let me know!
